From the moment I found out that Girls Aloud were doing a tour for their Ten - Greatest Hit, I just had to get tickets and see them in person. I remember sitting outside of Nottingham Ice Arena since 10.15am and waited patiently, as 4pm came around I shot up to get merchandise from the foyer and purchased £50 worth of merchandise and got back into the line as fast as I could. Finally 6.30pm came around and we was let into the Arena standing area where I stood just left of the walkway of the stage where I had a spectacular view. At 7.30pm the lights went down and the tension began to build, the two big screens at the side of the stage began to show the achievements over the last 10 years of the girls career, I also noticed a track high up in the Arena, and I instantly knew what it was going to be used for. Finally after so much suspension and Amelia opened the act, the great big black cloth curtain that was being held up on the stage suddenly dropped revealing the 5 Girls standing on a Girls Aloud logo with silver coins the size of two pence coins on the front and was at least 10 feet above the stage. They went straight into the debut single 'Sound of the Underground' and rolling straight into 'No Good Advice' as they stepped off of the logo, which when not in use was suspended high in the Arena, straight above my head. As the songs were being sung, the Girls changed into many different outfits for the relevant acts, each more stunning than the last. As they were setting up for their single 'Sexy! No No No', they once again stood on their Girls Aloud logo, which began to slowly move upwards and forwards towards the center of the Arena, where they continued to sing their next 3 songs as the backing dancers did their thing on the main stage. Afterwards they came back onto the main stage to perform the rest of the gig, Nicola Roberts came and stood in the center of the stage and sang 'Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me' to which Nadine Coyle asked the audience to get out any device with a light on it and hold it in the air. For the encore of the show the Girls changed once again, this time into red sequin dressed for the songs 'I'll Stand By You' and 'The Promise' which saw the Girls begin to cry and hug each other. At the end of 'The Promise' the Girls went onto certain parts of the stage before waving goodbye to the fans, and disappearing into the stage.
