The whole show was energetic, fun, totally enjoyable and believable. The whole cast really enjoyed their performance as did the whole audience. Sheridan Smith received a standing ovation which was very well deserved.

The musical is very close to the film story, although adaptations had to be made to fit it to the stage. The inspired use of stage props and lighting really made the show easy to follow and were largely unnoticeable.

Fantastic scenery - from the hairdressing salon to the formal setting of the court.
We sat a long way up and a long way back but had a vey good view. We were a bit concerned that a cast member might fall down the hole in the stage (Trapdoor) but they were all very sure footed!
The cast were fantastic - the main players have been applauded in the press (justifiably) but we would pick ut several others as being outstanding especially Paulette, Brooke and Vanessa. We loved the 'is he gay - or European?' song. We marvelled at the skipping rope choreography. The dogs - big one proved very slippery! - added a further challenge for the cast.
Why not 5 stars? Partly because we were so far back because we bought tickets late. Partly the facilities - the inevitable queue for the ladies waslonger than ever due to the predominantly female audience!

It was pink and fluffy in all the right places, but had a warm, gutsy heart and lots of laughs. Great acting and singing, the 'aw' factor from the dogs, the 'oo' factor from some well- honed physiques, and a decent storyline. You look around and everyone is enjoying themselves.

So Great, Me and 3 friends came to see the show on Thursday 11th March for my 23rd Birthday and i loved every second! It is definitely the best show i have seen, the cast were amazing and Sheridan looked like she was really enjoying herself as much as we were! The dogs were soooo CUTE and well trained and the songs are so catchy i am still singing them now! Would definitely go and see it again. xxx

The show was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. It was hilarious at times. The dancing and score was very good. I bought the soundtrack following the conclusion of the show. It is a must see!!!!
