Favourite moment: A slow piano/acoustic version of "I'll Be Ok", leading into Bubblewrap (my favourite McFly song) @
Setlist: Memory Lane (acapella), That Girl, Star Girl, Transylvania, Five Colours In Her Hair, Falling in Love, Room on the Third Floor, Obviously, Corrupted, Nowhere Left To Run, Lies, I'll Be Ok, Bubblewrap, Smile, It's Alright/YMCA/Don't Worry, Be Happy (covers), Shine a Light, One for The Radio, Memory Lane. Encore: Love Is Easy, All About You and The Heart Never Lies. @
Opening act(s): The Vamps (brilliant fun!) @
This was the 3rd time I have seen McFly, and it was by far the best. Having been my favourite band for almost a decade, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed.
Even though this was a Greatest Hits tour, they didn't just play their singles. The setlist was 21 songs strong, with a mixture of new and old, released and unreleased (with the odd sing-a-long here and there).
But the boys themselves were also on top form; they showed great energy and kept the crowd entertained throughout (especially when Tom found a bra...)
To put it bluntly, I will never tire of McFly, and I will keep seeing them as long as they keep going. Absolutely wonderful.
