I was able to make three visits to Wembley Arena to watch the Championships & it was well worth the effort.I was staggered by the skill,accuracy & power of these wonderful athletes.Having played the game to a good club standard when I was younger,I could better appreciate the ability of these world-class players & the central position of my seats gave an excellent view of the action.However,I hope that the organisers will look carefully at the presentation of the event,particularly on the semi-finals & finals days when over-loud music,strobe lighting & an over-excited announcer spoilt the effect by trying to pander to the modern idiom & turning the introduction of each match into a manic disco session! Finally,please don't embarrass those of us living in this country by having competitors walk through stereotype London buses,phone boxes & other gut-wrenching symbols beforehand.

The whole event was organised very well with no long waits between matches. My husband was not very mobile over that week and he was looked after very well with helpful staff providing him with appropriate seating for easy access in and out of the hall so we thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Probably the most under-rated sporting event ever in the UK. Constant action and entertainment - and the whole day really flew by
