Well they said allow a couple of hours. Four hours later we left...
It was a great day out, enough history and information to keep us happy, but loads to interest the kids, interactive exhibits and of course the dancing and studio sessions, which are great to watch a home on your own PC.
The displays are vibrant enough to interest everyone (kids aged 7 & 10), but have enough information to satisfy a more detailed curiosity. the rooms could have done with a few more sets of headphones so that we could all have listened to the information at the same time, and already the swipe pads were broken in some areas meaning we couldn't book mark the information we would have liked.
Despite all that the day was never dull, and we enjoyed all the areas on offer. The kids really enjoyed their drumming tuition, which is also available to liste to online at home, although the wait for that was a little long.
the O2 is great anyway, so we had a nice coffee beforehand and a meal afterwards all in the comfort of Entertainment Avenue.
i also felt that the 1945 - 1962 area was far too brief, and far too much time was given over to the Beatles - and yes I do realise how influential they were to British Music!
