Have been a fan since watching Fantasia come through to win American Idol. She is definitely a 'wild one' and I think she must test the patience of those around her with some of her diva moments. But she does have the vocals to make the gripes fade away to leave the memory of the brilliant moments she can deliver.
Her vocals were strong live and she delivered great renditions of Summertime, Hood Boy and Free Yourself to name but three. Fantasia also sang a number of cover versions including Kiss, Purple Rain and Umbrella ... maybe too many, but given time I am sure she will feel more confident with her own tracks.
Fantasia cannot be accused of not giving anything less than her all, but maybe time will teach her that sometimes less is more, as there were a few rather frantic moments. And despite her desire to be close to her fans, she does need to understand that not everyone can be in the first few rows so she needs to be on the stage for us to see her.

From what I have read, Fantasia has not had an easy path in life, either pre- or post- her Idol win, so I hope life is kind to her. I would like to think that I will be able to go and see her many times over a long and successful career. With the right guidance, this gifted young lady can blossom.

We waited a long time for Fantasia to come play the UK.She was full of Vavavoom as expected.I could totaly understand her need to feel the crowd and share her energy.It was unfortunate that when she jumped into the crowd.The people upstairs (who paid nearly twice the price for a ticket) Could not see her.To her credit,Once she found out that we could not see.She extended her encore to try and compensate.
What i would say in conclusion is. The lady is fantastic !! hence being christened Fantasia.Lol.She must come back and play the main Arena So everone can share the experience.She must also include more of her own material in the show.I think that she does not realise how much her Uk massive actually follow her and know her stuff.

Can i just give a quick shout out to the dj and kojo my god my concert startd hours before fantasia come on stage, but my god when she did i nearly lost my mind. i have followed fantasia since american idol and i have always seen her on television, this does her no justice she is a vocal beast and knocked me for six. whoever said that they did not go to a concert ot go to church, then you like the worng type of artists, fantasia is from the church and jesus forget gospel she took us to church on every performance. yes she went down into the crowd came back on the stage and then come back on after gaining knowledge that she upset the crowd. i could have watched her for weeks and i ahve seen whitney and beyonce and they were good but nothing like fantasia, she was worth every penny, i love her and she better come back to the uk i dnt care where it is.

Great voice. Amazing energy, this girl was determined to work this low on numbers, low on energy, crowd up and get them to come with her on her journey. And they did. In her desire to get what she needed to feel - the connection with the audience - she got them to cross the front barriers of the stage. Lovely and felt sincere. After being told they would stop the show if she didn't get the audience away from the front her answer was to come down into the audience at the front for the rest of the show. All great for HER needs to feel it from the crowd. The problem was you couldn't see her for the rest of the show. And all the energy she whipped up on stage, was lost. And the concert became dull.

The above, along with the Jesus Loves You ranting that went on for ages - making everybody wave their hands and sing thanks to God... well I didn't spend my hard earned cash to go to a church and be preached at by a singer.

Promising night that she showed she was a powerful performer but then that her own needs are more important to her that the audience.

Opening act(s): All the support acts were great. Cynthia Erivo - what a lovely voice she has. FDM - great energy on stage. Raheem and Maclean both did a good job. Eddie was funny as usual. @

What a performer! Fantasia came to give her fans a show. I love her and can't wait for her to come back.

She wasted no time in kicking off her heels and getting down with it. No aires and graces, she was there to please her fans.

Wanting to get close to her followers Fantasia did not realise that those on the balcony could not see her when she went off stage and mingled with her fans, however those downstairs would have been well and truly pleased. I missed that she did not sing all her songs from her albums (I was so hoping that she would sing 'Got Me Waiting' and 'Truth Is'), however she did sing great versions of other people songs which was fantastic.

For anyone who has missed this show, don't miss the next one!!

Amazing performer, singer, entertainer, one of the best singers of our generation, if not the best!! Amazing energy, true genuine perfomance, she sings from the soul and gives 200%, an honour to see her live!! Breathe of fresh air, throwback to a time when music was heartfelt and had meaning!!

Hope to see her when she is back in London.

The show was absolutely brilliant, wish she was on stage longer.
Hope she comes back very soon. She is born performer. If there were more shows I would have went again and again.

All I can say is Bring back Fantasia ASAP especially in the Colour Purple.

From the start when she walked on stage and took off her shoes, it was easy to see that Fantasia come to play!!
By far the best performance I have ever seen, without reservation and I wasn't even a fan, I was just taking my wife.
Vocally flawless, the band were on point. The backing singers were so tight it was unbelievable.
Fantasia gave us more than our moneys worth (and I bought the most expensive seats over £100) , she reached inside her heart pulled out raw emotion and pushed it straight into my ears down into my chest and I felt it!!!
Any singer who can break down in the middle of thier performance and cause a full house to put up there hands and worhsip God is someone special.
The night was unbeliveable and I know many singers who like us are still trying to recover, from the best we've seen!!! Cant wait for her next performance and may have to travel to USA just to saee her again if she doesn't come back soon.

It was an absoloute pleasure to see someone so talented and so free share their gift so effortlessly.

Next time she comes they better book a bigger venue because theres a huge stir now and many people are upset they missed out!

I better stop typing but Fantasia was simply out of this world!!!!!!!!

Had great seats in Kings Row. Fantasia looked great, sounded superb and really connected with the crowd. Felt a bit sorry for the people in the upper seats as Fantasia spent alot of time off stage 'with the people'. She's a great performer and entertainer.....and as for that voice - WOW! Please bring her back again SOON! A highly enjoyable night

My girl Fantasia was on fire! She came to entertain us and she didn't disappoint.

She can sing but we all knew that we just wanted to see her flex with her audience.

The only critism I have was that she needs to sing more of her own material and not other artists as we came to hear her do her thing. I'm not sure she realises that we know her material and even if we don't we would enjoy it.

Also on a separate note the O2 Indigo upstairs seating restricts your view so make sure you either get front tickets or be prepared to stand so you can see everything at all times

Fantasia - a very feisty, gutsy lady who, for her first time in London, proved she wanted to put on a good show and give people their money’s worth. All the vocal reasons why she won American Idol were apparent. I was very impressed with her energy as she worked the stage. Unfortunately, at times, the sound let her down (which she wasn’t frightened to tell the soundmen to get sorted!) The biggest disappointment though, was when she came down into the crowd and continued her set from the front row! Not bad if you were standing at the front or up in the first few rows of the circle but no good when standing at the back. Some people tried to push their way forward to see her. For me, this is when the atmosphere was lost!

Still, a nice concert put on by Fantasia!!!

I had a really good time, she got everyone up and dancing with her. It's a shame that she didn't do more of her own songs though. However it was one of the best concerts i've been to for a long time you go girl!!

Fantasia Barrino is a true DIVA and a real performer, from the moment she kicked off her killer heels to when she told security she needed the audience around her, you knew this would be no set list gig. She could have sung anyone of her songs from her albums and she let the audience decide a couple of times what they wanted to hear, she even threw in a couple of covers. As a performer she is fierce and she sings straight from the heart I for one would recommend this artist to anyone who loves a singer who doesn't care whether she looks pretty when she's singing, as Ms Barrino said herself, "Y'all don't pay me to be pretty, y'all pay me to sing" Next time hopefully I'll be in the front row.

Fantasia was BRILLIANT, i would definately pay to see her again.

Her voice was amazing,she really performed her socks off (well shoes off in Fanatasia's case), and she seemed to enjoy giving the performance as much we enjoyed watching it. Definately an artist that appreciates her fans. Only downside was that when she came off stage to be closer to the fans, those of us upstairs did not see her for a while and had to watch her from the large screen. She did makek up for it though after the show had ended returned to perform 2 more songs especially for us upstairs., and it was GREAT!!

Fantasia came on stage and kicked of f her shoes, and got down to business. She was like electricity lighting up the stage when she started strutting her stuff like a young Tina Turner. You could not sit down in your seats as you just had to move to her tunes.

Fantasia was absolutely in her element and showed every one what good ol singing is all about .
her insisting that the crowd be allowed close to the stage showed how down-to-earth and real she still is .
she is a musical powerhouse with not one note out of tune ,,

it was a FANTASTIC time and a great way to end the long weeknd . I say ENCORE
