Featured Review
Lord of the Dance at Edinburgh Playhouse was absolutely amazing. The skill and stamina of the dance troupe, the music and the special effects all made for an electric atmosphere in the audiance. A thouroghly enjoyable evening was had by all and shown in the applause, the calls for more and the cheering.

This was a truly spectacular show-the dancing and costumes were amazing. Now looking to see Riverdance, which is coming to the Hippodrome next year.

This production was every bit as good as one I saw when it was first performed. The atmospheric lighting and haunting music were particularly special. The house was packed and the applause rapturous. The principal dancers were every bit as good as the originals way back. A great evenings entertainment.

We had great seats - second row from the front so couldn't have been better. The show was great. Great music, great dancing, great atmosphere. Wished I could watch it all over again. It was even better seeing two of the original dancers who starred in the show from the beginning alongside Michael Flatley. I was surprised to see them feature in this show as it was performed on a smaller scale (smaller stage) so was great they were part of the production.

I saw this show at the Bristol Hippodrome for the second time - last time was about 8 years ago in Bournemouth. I enjoyed it but was disappointed that The Temptress was not as good as previously - she didn't seem as supple and also to my mind should have had long black hair as the contrast to the other Leading Lady. Otherwise I couldn't fault the show. Our seats were awful though Row Zb near the back of the stalls, under the overhang of the Grand Circle which made you feel you were watching the performance from the inside of a box and my view waspartially obscured by the head of the person in front of me. As I cannot afford to visit the theatre very often we had paid the top price for the seats (£80 for 2 inc.booking fee) to avoid this and I felt let down. Next time I would go to a different theatre if a show I wanted to see was touring.

This show was definitely worth seeing - the dancing was at an amazing standard, particularly from the lead males, and it wasn't just feet tapping, it told a story as well. Between the music, costumes and setting, at times it was like being transported to a fairy's grotto. Terrific show.

This show was amzing, the energy and skill of the dancers was just breathtaking, i just wanted to see more - the music was toe tappingly good - i would go as far to say that this show is one of the best i have ever seen.

I have never been to anything like this before and i was totaly amazed i didn't think this show would be something i liked but how wrong i was i would highly reccomend anyone to see the show and they will not be disappointed.
