There are no words to describe how brilliant Laura Marling and Pete Roe were! For my first gig it truely was something to remember! The enviroment was so laid back and relaxing with candles covering all the tables and there was fantastic music played the whole night, it wasn't what I was expecting at all and it was AMAZING! Much better than I thought it was going to be. I thouroughly enjoyed the 2 and a bit hour gig and I have recommended my family and friends to go and see her the next time she's touring...which I deffinately will be attending!
Pete and Laura are lovely to listen and talk to and are very talented just by watching them play guitar has inspired me to pick mine up and play.

My mouth dropped as I walked in and the venue was full of tables and chairs. Me and my friend grabbed the table closest to the tiny stage and I oggled at Laura for an hour maybe a couple of metres away from where she stood.

Absolutely amazing, completely different live than on recordings, her guitar playing was pure and determined, the range of her voice was incredible and quality of t second to none. Best live acoustic I've ever been to.

i loved this night out !!! the stage was set up small and intimate, making the gig a close knit onefor the ironworks. i didnt know who pete roe was before but, well im listening to his cd just now so thats got to explain it. the 2 together make a very layed back gig. very enjoyable. ......apart from the guy at the front wobling his head out of time i enjoyed every aspect!!
