I / we (whole family went) felt that Amy played too much of the new stuff. It was great to hear new material, but Amy - too much, to soon. The set needed a more balanced approach, and to cater for your Fans, they want / need to hear the old ones too ! Still, it was a great show, although a wee bit short - 1 hour and 5 minutes - it's the shortest concert I've been to.

concert was great, Amy sounded great, the new new songs sound like the new album will be worth the wait, a few more songs from the first album could have stretched it out a bit, the cover of Dancing in the dark was excellent.

Overall very good but could have played a few more songs to make it a bit longer.

I like her music but wouldn't call myself a huge fan, mostly there cause my fiance is. Saying that I thouroughly enjoyed it. Amy put on a great performance and is excellent live and I would go see her again.

This is 3rd Amy MacDonald concert I've been to and probably the best. Good atmosphere in the Barrowlands and a great Scottish crowd.

Amy MacDonald played new tracks from her album and they where all received well,a slightly more rocky feel but with her amazingly unique voice they sounded brilliant. If you have not seen Amy yet go and bloody see her! The band where tight and looked like they were having a great time so well done to them too.

My friend and I attended her launch show for her new album at the Barrowlands, and wow, what a night it was! Amy and the band were on top form and she seemed genuinely pleased to be there! The set was mainly made up of songs off her new record, which all sound really good- recognised a few that she had played from her last few tours, although a few songs from her first record - Run, This Is The Life, Mr Rock and Roll and Let's Start A Band- also made it onto the set. All in all a really great night, I can't wait for her new album and for her next tour (Already got my tickets for Edinburgh and Inverness in March!)

Amy was at her best at the barrowland, her home patch, on thursday. great to hear her new songs, & the best of her old ones. A couple of new faces in her band unnerved me a wee bit at the start, but they were fantastic. Can't wait to see her in edinburgh in march!

Saw Amy MacDonald at the Barrowlands last night, and it was amazing. She sang some of her songs from her forthcoming album, and if they are anything to go by her new album will be a bit hit.

She also entertained us with some of her well known hits including This is the Life and Let's Start a Band.

Well done Amy another fantastic gig at the Barrowlands.

Actually was a bit disappointed. Only on for around 1 hour. Doing all the new songs was OK, but folk would also like to hear the old stuff.
Amy could have stayed on stage a bit longer and done some more oldies.

Also, not much interaction with crowd and on the accasions she did speak it was the same stuff she said last time she played there.

I went to this event with my boyfriend and I would reccomend going to see Amy Macdonald to anyone. My boyfriend bought me tickets to go and see her the previous year she was here and I absolutely loved it, she has such an amazing voice and being a fellow scot makes it so much better. I was a bit apprehensive before I went to this years concert as I did not know any of the songs as it was the first time she was playing any of the songs from her new album but now I cannot wait for her album to come out as I will straight away be buying it ... all of the songs she played was great plus she also sang songs from her last album so that the crowd could sing along. In true scots style everyone was goin crazy - was such a great night! The only downfall was the supporting act "Jersey Budd" - I thought he had a good voice and I liked all of the songs, however he dedicated one of his songs to celtic and being a rangers fan myself i did not appreciate that! I am not being bias I just think it is really stupid coming to Glasgow and anouncung on stage that a song is dedicated to either rangers or celtic as their was mixed reactions. Amy is an outstanding performer and I will be going to see her anytime she is in Scotland. I loved her singing Bruce Springsteens "Dancing In the Dark", I think she should bring it out as her own. She sings it at all of her concerts I have been to. Overall a great night out, never dissapointed, would reccomend to anyone male or female of any age.

There is no doubting Amy has a great voice but for me this concert was ruined by the amount of new songs she sang, we all know that artists want to play their new material but considering the new album isnt out yet and no one knows any of the songs then she should have only played 2 or 3 instead of a whole set dominated by them in which she only played 3 or 4 songs off her first and only album, even the 2 encore songs consisted of a cover version of dancing in the dark and a new song. Nowhere near as good as she was last year at the Barrowlands
