My friend and I decided to get standing tickets for this as we always like being in on the action but when we first arrived the space in front of the stage was just filled with teenage girls standing there looking bored and inactive. The first two bands that played weren't too well known but that didn't stop me and my friend having a bit of a dance and enjoying ourselves, but the same couldn't be said for everyone else :/ By the time the third act was on people started to slightly liven up and everyone got more or less into it. Temper trap were definitely one of the best parts of the night and didn't seem to suffer with the bad acoustics that the other few acts did and prepared the crowd well for the headliners that were Razorlight. Overall, a great night :)

All the bands were really great, but for some reason last years great atmosphere was missing. Perhaps because of the lack of reference to Christmas. If any of the bands made one I missed it.

Favourite moment: When the Jack Steadman) went into the mosh pit and was set upon by what seemed a hord of vampires - left with a few clumps of hair missing!! Hilarious @

Hmmm what can I say, I went to this gig as my 15 year daughter is indie mad and although the gig was ok it would have been better if the instrument/voice balance had been equal - as it was the instruments drowned out most of what was being sung and this is a pity because it would have been good to have heard the singing too!!!!

For all those of you that have attended this event in the past i feel sure that you will have noticed that as the years have gone on the Christmas atmosphere that was once achieved at this event is all but a distant memory along with the charitable backbone that i for one took pleasure in supporting.Last nights show put too much emphasis on bursting eardrums rather than showing us good musical talent through the early acts. The Temper Trap saved the support from dropping dead in my opinion although the Local Natives hit the spot with thier final number.Razorlight as a headline was allways a strange choice but i am sure X.F.M had thier reasons(perhaps recession dictates) however hats off to them, they rolled out all the old faves and performed them well and at least J.B has learnt not to climb up cabinets that he cant get down from.So if you asked me if i am going to attend next year then i would have to say not unless the line up is better than this time.

Good venue.
Goldhawks were suprisingly good, although unfortunately the crowd didn't really get into them. Bombay Bicycle Club were also great, especially with their more well-known songs.
I thought Big Pink were a let down - their big hit 'dominos' was good, but the rest of their set was just noise really. The Temper Trap were good, but not as good as I'd expected.
Razorlight, the headliners, were amazing as usual. They played quite a lot of newer stuff, but also the old classics, so was a good mix and a fair set length too.

Cribs were fantastic! Liam was amazing! The only act who let it down were Echo and the Bunnymen.
Will try and go again next year, went with a load of friends and had a lot of fun.
