Didn't enjoy the music this month...the new layout of house music downstairs in my opinion a disaster. Overpriced tickets over priced drinks never again for me.

Great place, nice atmosphere, 3 rooms that cater for all tastes and age groups. Everyone I met there was nice and friendly. Can't wait for the next event

We attended expecting to hear Tamla Motown ,it should have been advertised as an all nighter.We left after the Elgins ,who were a big disappointment,they only sang five songs and one of those wasnt theirs,there trademark song Heaven must have sent you was terrible,it was that bad they played the record and they sang it again?

Yet again another great night at King Georges Hall. Myself and my boyfriend had an amazing time, dancing all night, didn't want it to end. We have already booked for November and cant wait.

me and my mate drove up from stoke ,we went to the last soul night June 2011. we always find it friendly,relaxed well organised and attended, the live acts are superb.We have never been disappointed yet . we get to hear some incredible Tunes,I don't know where else you can get such a great night out with such value for money, so get yourselves down there and experience for yourself................long may the Soul Nights continue big thanks Andrea and Sue xxx

It was a welcome surprise to see that the dancefloor had been made larger in Blakey's, but disappointingly the music wasn't what i expected. Why oh why do you get DJ's who play slow soul music from 11pm till 1am in the contemporary R'n'b room...??. Surely that style of music should be played in the last half an hour. And the fact that when it comes on the dancefloor empties....!! Speaks volumes, and yet the DJ's do not recogmise this and carry on regardless. I go into Blakey's to hear modern up Tempo r'n'b. If i wanted to hear soul i would go downstairs to the soul room. KGH use to get the music right every time and the nights were top notch, would be nice if they could get it right in the future....

Music great - upstairs was Northern Soul and the Windsor Suite played Jazz funk all night. Spoilt for choice so spent all night up and down the stairs bopping in both rooms.Danced my socks off. Great night and cant wait for the next event !!!!!

Classic format for a Casino night. Good sets by all the DJ's but had to leave by 12.30
Tommy Hunt, well you could take this two ways, 1st who is the old guy on stage and what is he trying to do ? or 2nd Full respect to this great soul legend and a pleasure to see him and shake his hand. Hopefully most people will fit into the 2nd.
Plenty of room on the floor with not many hand baggers in attendance.

Had a good night again. Thought Keith Fletcher's set was very good. Only heard first half of ginger and wasn't to impressed with selections.It was a change having a live band and the sound was excellent but they need a different vocalist. Not sure what the point of a live band is when the records are better although appreciate it was a change.I am no technical expert but still feel the overall sound on the night could be better.

The event was great. Good company and the DJ's gave everything I expected. Love the Group Will definately be going again. Hope it happens again. Travelled from Warrington so distance no problem.

What a wonderful night on January 30th, we couldn't stop dancing. If you are someone who is looking for some top quality tunes, not the stuff that is in the charts now, but tunes from back in the day. Then this night is for you, especially if you are a Southport Weekender (Funkbase) head like I am.
