This was the second time I have seen the show, not as good as the first time. They have changed the script, the jokes are funny and statirical but have become more smutty.
Its very loud (but is a rock musical) the music of Queen is great with plenty of opportunities to sing along and dance. However, the dancers now gyrate, grind and basically get down almost in your face and as its very popular for youngsters to visit, you may need to think about what you want them to see.
There is alot of strobe lighting too but they do warn you about that. First time I saw it was a real tribute to Freddy Mercury but this time he seemed to be forgotten which is very sad, he was Queen to me.

Great night out, really enjoyed this musical, I think maybe you need to be a Queen fan (which I am) to thoroughly enjoy it.
The staging is quite minimal in the first half with the visuals mostly by the cast rather than the setting, good use of technology throughout, very powerful voices and lots of energy, we both enjoyed the second half more.
Everyone was good but I really enjoyed the performances by Scaramouche, the Killer Queens No1 man (sorry name escapes me) and Pop. Our show had three understudies in situ but I can't remember who they were and it didn't matter to me! Check before hand if you are going for a particular performer.
The Killer Queen had a strong voice but personally I didn't resonate with her character.
Our seats in circle G28/29 were great, central view and reasonable distance away.
Have a look at the photo's of Freddy around the walls of the theatre before taking your seats.. wish I'd had the chance to see him on stage!
Great fun musical with more laughs than I expected ....but not a special story line, just enjoy it! And remember to bring your voice and laughter.

After performing in my school's version of the show i was more than aware of the unbelivable cheese of the musical. There is no getting away from it... it's just an excuse of a whole load of classic Queen tracks to be combined in a theatre. But so what :) It didn't dissappoint. With great use of comedy written but Ben Elton you are assued of a laugh. The show contains mind blowing technical equiptment (which by itself is worth seeing just for). But above all the music couldn't be faulted, with a live band hidden in the wings which you could easily mistake for a backing track.

Above all it's well worth it.

If you love Queen music then you wil love "We Will Rock You". It's a great singalong.
Beyond that, the storyline is engaging and the main characters are hilarious at times.
The costumes, sets and dancing are great. You you must go and see this truely entertaining show.

I've been to many shows all over theUK, an the US this show stood out froanything I'd ever seen before no expense was spared on his production, I seen the show 4 times in Manchester and plan to travel to Edinbugh to see th show in December, hopefully they travel arond the UK next year and come to Liverpool as I'd go every single show, and would not get bored, Freddie would be so proud of this show as are the rest of the group.

FANTASTIC, AMAZING, VALUE, EXCELENT !!!!!!!!!!

It was brilliant! The understudy Emma played Scaramoosh and she was fantastic! The lights were bright, the music was loud and Queen 'Rocked' throughout the theatre. I hope to see it again in the not too distant future. The 3 curtain calls proved how much the audience loved it.

We went to this Queen based event with great anticipation. Booked great seats row C middle, £69 each. Sadly the production left a lot to be desired. On a positive note some of the dancing was innovative and fresh. Some of the costumes also were imaginative. The music was way too loud, over amplified which I guess was deliberate. The singers also were over amplified, which created a "trying too hard" effect. I love Queen, and really expected a polished performance with top top notch singers and great orchestration. The event was clearly a money trap and "quality" was not on display. I have seen much better produced musical events on Broadway. I am a Brit, but the Americans would have done a much better job.... Definately for foreign tourists

This was the 4th time to see the show, 1st time in London. The London show was better than in Manchester although some of the stars were missing.
My husband, a big Queen fan finally agreed to come along and overall enjoyed it but did cringe when One vision and Hammer to fall were, as he put it, murdered! LOL

Like Queen? This does not do them justice. Horrible story, music only ok. If the whole play was as good as the last five minutes it would be a good show. Unfortunately it is not! Choose a different show, so many better options to choose from. Not quite sure how this show has survived 10+ years.

After a long day as a tourist in London, my Mum, sister age 15, brother 13 and myself 17 years, needed a lively show to keep our attention. The show was lively from the start, the music and everything was brilliant. I would certainly recommend it as good for the whole family

Cast, crew, band; the whole shindig was excellent. A pantomime appreciation of all of Queen's hits with a side story running through. Thought it might be for people "of a certain age" but all ages and nationalities were jumping and singing along including my two teenage kids. Just book it and go. You will not be disappointed.
