As a surprise birthday treat for a ballet lover, this show was an incredible experience. Carlos Acosta supported by 7 principal dancers from various companies performed 12 pieces - a mix of contemporary and classical dances with a wide range of music styles. He was every bit as dynamic and powerful as expected and supported by equally top class dancers. It was an uplifting experience; soulful, somber pieces were interspersed with more lighthearted, playful dances. Because of the relatively short pieces, the pace moved quickly and kept us enthralled. In short, I would definitely go and see him again!

Carlos Acosta and his friends entertained us superbly at the Coliseum. They danced a variety of traditional and modern ballet. It was a stunning display of dance, co-ordination and music. A great afternoon's entertainment.

This was an absolutely unforgettable show!!! I loved the fact you got to see traditional and modern ballet. The only disappointing thing was that they ran out of programmes so as someone new to ballet it was difficult to understand the different overtures and I had no souvenir of the show to take away.

Absolutely wonderful wonderful show. The standard of dance was so high, and the variety of dances very wide. Not a bad moment.

I nearly wept when Acosta came on for Spartacus ..... but all the dances were spellbinding... the whole evening was unforgettable - the theatre was beautiful and you could here a pin drop... just the swish of the dancers' shoes as they lighlty brushed the floor - such power and control.... all the dancers were amazing but of course all eyes were on Carlos Acosta - such expressiveness .... I am going to book straightaway for March and see him dance in Swan Lake - thank you to all the dancers but of course thank you to Carlos Acosta for the privilege of watching him.

Anyone who has a preconceived notion that male ballet dancers are probably cissies should see this show. Carlos Acosta and his three male colleagues really put that idea to rest with a fantastically energetic performance. A mixed bill of a little classical but mostly contemporary work fairly fizzed along and will help to broaden the audience for ballet.

It was immaculate! Every move was precise and kept me riveted. A great show! I particularly liked the guy with the dredlocks who did the techno twitchy thing near the end. He was HOT! and of course carlos himself - totally brilliant.

I HAVE BEEN WATCHING BALLET FOR 20 YEARS AND THAT WAS THE BEST EVER.
Varied, erotic, beautiful, technically brilliant, exciting, meditative, controlled perfection
