Opening act(s): Angels in White - they were truly awful, obviously influenced buy the Simon Cowell school of entertainment. I can't believe Jools had anything to do with putting this lot on support him. @

This was the best start to the Christmas season. Jools, the Band, Ruby Turner, Chris Difford, Sandie Shaw all gave their all and I will definitely be booking tickets to see him next Christmas as soon as they are available! A fantastic night. All together now 'Enjoy yourself.............

thank you for a fantastic evening. what a treat to see real musicians playing real instruments at an unbelievable quality!! not forgetting the excellent vocalists. an extra bonus was seeing the lovely and brilliant KT Tunstall!! i really hope they are back again soon!!

An amazing night of rhythm and blues laid back venue plenty of boogying in the aisles,
The band is just fantastic every one of them at the top off their game. The drummer and Derek Nash are mentioned especially both delivering amazing solo,s.
The vocals by the band singers were excellent and enhanced the guest s performances
K T Tunstall Ruby Turner a fabulous guest pair.
A fabulous fabulous night of music played by extremely accomplished musicians a joy to hear If anyone gets the chance to experience this fabulous show dont miss it.

The whole show was amazing all artists were so talented. Will deffinately attend again and tell all friends just how great the show was.

Venue note where we sat very very drafty need to do something about the comfort of audience please.

The concert was fab but completely spoilt by the man sitting next to me who continually rocked back and forth in his seat throughout the whole thing. Which meant that our seats were continually bouncing back and forth also ! When I spoke to him about it he told me to "shut up". charming !

Anyway Jools Holland had a great lineup as usual and he never disappoints.

Went to see Jools Holland and his R&B band on Saturday and they were brilliant. this is the 4th time I have seen him and his band, and they provide a great evenings entertainment.

Would go again and would definitely recommend people to go and see.

I was expecting a really good evening - it turned out to be a great one. I had heard that the acoustics at the Brighton Centre were dodgy at times and my apprehension was fuelled by the opening singer Jack Savoretti. Near the end he explained that he and his two musicians usually play in smaller gigs and that may explain how poor the sound mix was. There was far too much 'top' and his voice and guitar were terrible tonally. This was a shame as the guitarist and bass were superb. Jools and the R & B Orchestra were just great from the first song. Some of their material was a little obscure, but they combined brilliantly, supporting one another, especially each soloist during and after their solo spot. All of them combined well together with no egos evident at all. .

Saw Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues band in Brighton on Saturday evening. They were brilliant - lots of boogie woogie. Jools was joined by KT Tunstall, Louise Marshall and the always brilliant Ruby Turner. People were up in the aisles dancing and singing and clapping. A great night of great music!!!

The Jools Holland's Boogie Woogie Big Band were brilliant with guests K T Tunstall, Rico Rodriguez and the ever present Ruby Turner. The individual performances were excellent, with fantastic solo's from band members and great piano playing from Jools.
Excellent support from of Jack Savoretti. He has a very talented singer/ songwriter with a voice to kill for.

The gig was absolutely brilliant, although I couldn't say the same for the support act, white angels! They were absolutely terrible, cringe worthy and did not suit a Jools Holland auidence at all. We came to see blues, and the support should have been suited to this. Instead we got an extremely boring and manufactured girls band. Not impressed, would like to see talent, real music, supporting Jools next time.

Jools and band were great. This is the second time I've seen him at the Brighton Centre and it's still an amazing way to spend the night.

But, the Brighton Centre was far, far too cold - it was cold and we had more cold air blowing on us. This completely spoilt the evening, and would make me re-consider ever going there again.
