Well i've wanted to see George Michael perform live since 1982 when i first clapped eyes on him but i was only nine and too young (apparently!).

Anyway i did see him live in 2006 at Wembley Arena and he was fab, the best pop singer in the entire world. What a fantastic concert - i was 33 at the time and just as excited as i would have been had i gone to see him all those years ago when my mum said no.

I went to see George Michael in concert whilst living in Abu Dhabi and it was one of the best concerts i've ever been to - apart from the fact that the weather was perfect and it was an outside concert which helped to make the evening even more special - George was doubling with Alicia Keys and they both gave everything and more, alicia started the evening and was great, she sings, plays the piano and dances all at the same time! but we were there for George and had no idea what to expect, having read the news papers in the UK we thought he was going to be a bit of a prima donna but he wasn't at all, in fact he was absolutely fantastic, he sang for at least two hours with only a very short break, he got everybody singing along and the atmosphere was brilliant. I hadn't realised how many of his songs I knew, but as i'm about the same age, I suppose we grew up together and his music has been there around me for most of my adult life.

George was fantastic, he had so much energy and sang so many great songs it would be hard to pick one, He proved he really is pretty special and it is such a shame that he has no plans for more concerts so

George if you read this thank you so much for a fantastic show, we really really enjoyed it and have not stopped going on about it to any poor person who is forced to listen. Please Please Please do another concert, I want to bring all of my family and friends along and have another great evening with you.

Anybody out there if you get the chance to see him don't miss the opportunity
