I enjoyed this performance so much that it surprised me. Unforgettably entertaining.

So maybe she wasn't singing live but was prerecorded (a rumour we heard begging to be affirmed when we saw the superhuman levels of body grooving and quite perfect singing Ms Spears was making from one end of the stage to another). This might be something I would otherwise have found a shame/scam, but by the middle of the performance, I found myself a critic turned fan. Everything else about the show made up for any doubt that may have crossed my mind prior to the event - the extraordinary stage direction, theatrical circus acts, the dazzling pyrothehnic displays, and most of all, the tremendously infectious high energy levels of all on stage that never waned. I was thoroughly entertained and it left me incapable with finding fault or questioning Ms Spears' right-on-pitch and crystal clear unfailing vocals well-projected by the reliable sound system through the concert hall.

I must admit, I cannot call myself a Britney fan. Compared to most who could sing to all her songs or those who came decked in costume. I bought 2 tickets as a surprise for my girlfriend who mentioned in passing that she would like to catch the concert having known Ms Spears to be a good performer (she, a slightly bigger fan that I am, was blown away). I was initially embarassed to tell my mates where I was that night, although I had my girlfriend as my excuse (I joked about it). What I least expect was that I would end up telling them how much I enjoyed the show.

The circus atmosphere outside the O2 (carousel, babes on stilts, etc) gave a very warm welcome. The professional circus acts in the show poised themselves as solid talent as if a collaboration with Cirque Du Soleil. The magic act of Britney's disappearance and reappearance at another end of the stage was utterly convincing. The song and dance and stage direction was highly infectious and brought the entire audience to their fee form start to end. It certainly helped that we had good seats that provided a view of all ends of the stage. Yes, she might still need a little more work to get back to the Britney in top-form body, but I'm glad to vouch that she hasn't lost her groove. What might have taken the concert to a more meaningful level, was if she attempted to interact with the audience slightly. The crowd likes to see an entertainer enjoying themselves and appreciating the atmosphere. However, Ms Spears appeared to be on a mission to finish her job on stage and in the end you wonder if she enjoyed it half as much as everyone else. No complaints though, it was simply too spectacular and seeing how much my girlfriend enjoyed it completed the unforgettable evening.

The most disappointing thing (besides transport inconvenience from Underground works) is that they did not allow my girlfriend to bring her camera in. It isn't a professional camera that can zoom close enough for pictures besides personal use but the moment security saw a digital SLR, they insisted it had to be kept.

The circus starring Britney spears is a true spectical form the moment the first support act took to the stage there was none stop action, Ciara provided and amazing aray of songs that got the o2 moving the entertainment rolled on for new yorks big apple circus who provided a mouth droping set of bizzare tricks and skills that kept the audience on the edge of there seats. Then the moment had come for the princess of pop to take to the stage, floating down from the roof of the o2 in a lion tamers outfit britney opened with circus and from there the action just didnt stop. Hit after hit britney amazed her way through evey performance making the ocassional stop for costume change but even then the dancers or videos kept the audience glued to the centre stage. This was truely an unforgetable night and i for one will be first in line to get tickets for the next tour!

What a show! What a performance, raunchy, sexy, beautiful
The New York Circus where just fanstastic, the seats were really good, could see everything. The prop change was really really good. Knew Britney wasn't signing most of it, but it was a damn good show.

i took my 9 year old daughter to watch britney as she has always liked her, the circus was amazing and our eyes were stuck to it, however britney came on and she did give a great preformance, she was really dancing, but you could tell most of the songs were mimed, im not saying thats a bad thing as she was under the floor popping out in different places up in the air and dancing around. however the one thing that spoilt it for me and my daughter was when she said "whats up london" when clearly she should of known she was actually in manchester. I would say i did enjoy the evening but that one thing did slightly upset me a little.

Well what can i say really about the night i see Britney at the o2. Ive been a massive fan of hers for a very long time and this is the 2nd time i have seen her in London (1st time being at the Docklands Arena for her 'oops i did it again' tour) and this time at the o2, i had massive expectations of a great gig ahead after seeing a great live performance at the Docklands Arena all those years ago.

How wrong was i. Yes it was a great show (in terms of the way it looked etc) but im sorry, people pay good money to see the acts that they have followed for a very long time, bought all the albums etc and then they turn up to see the act isnt singing. Thats pretty bad really. The 'oops i did it again' tour was 1000 times better than 'The Circus' tour as then, Britney put in alot of effort but this time, to me it seemed like she was just out to make some money and didnt want to interact with her fans or sing live. Yes she has had her problems recently and i wish her all the best but surely if this was one of the reasons why she didnt want to sing live, then the tour should not of gone ahead to be honest.

Im a huge Britney fan and i always will be and ill buy every new single and album she releases but im just gutted that the tour was the way it was. Get back to how you were on the 'oops i did it again' tour, Britney for your next world tour and you are on to a winner.

Every song was mimed and dancing was pretty poor, the only use of her mike was 10 mins in 'Whats up London' and then a final 'Thanks goodnight London'.

Was completely outshined by her supporting act Ciara, who interacted well with the crowd and put on an outstanding show!

I was disappointed that she only sang one song live (that I was aware of), but nevertheless I did enjoy myself! It was very entertaining and I lost my voice the next day!

I have been a fan of Britney's since 1999 when I was just 8! I have sung along to her songs and got all of her albums as soon as they have come out. But I never got to see her live, and in 2007 I feared I'd never get the chance, but now I have. And OMG, what a show. People said that this was the comeback but I think it was more than that. This is the return of a phenomenon! She danced like mad! She did magic tricks. And she put on a hell of a show. I for one cannot wait for her next tour. I'll be there like a shot. An amazing first experience seeing her!

Who cares if the girl was miming - she was brilliant from start to finish! She keeps the auidence waiting for her and she's well worth waiting for when she does finally arrive on stage!

Britney puts on a fab show and I know that she was knocked (I went on the second night of the show!) for not talking to the audience, but she rocked.

Her dance moves, the routines that she did, the moves that she made were just all fab and I loved every single minute that I was watching her show! I would definately go again to see her and I can't wait for her to tour the UK again!

Britney's first UK show in over 5 years was amazing.
Yes she lip-synched the whole thing but that wasn't an issue to me because the show was phenomenal.
Every segment linked perfectly, the dancing was great too.
Ciara and the Big Apple Circus were the perfect warm up acts, and the entrance to the 02 (all Circus Themed) was grand.
My only regret was not getting VIP seats.
Highlight was the entrance which rolled into Circus and Piece of Me.
Only let down was no flat out performance of Gimme More.

This gig was Britney at her sexiest best,every fave song was there except oops i did it again,she played mainly from blackout and circus which in my opinion are her best albums.Every song had a different stage set,the atmosphere was electric,as soon as she entered the arena every one got up and cheered the princess of pop on.Every song had a diiferent outfit.

I took my daughter to see Britters as she's loved her since she was about 8. What struck me most about the event was the lack of atmosphere due to lip-synching. I'm used to gigs where everyone gets sweaty and jumps about, even at large venues. My previous O2 gig was the Scissor Sisters a couple of years ago and that was much better because it was real and the band made an effort to connect with the audience! Britney barely said 2 words to her fans, walked around the stage alot, her dance routines were mediocre and the audience sat down for most of the show despite the frenzied excitement before she came on stage. Ms Spears certainly needed the circus performers to bring some interest to the event. Unfortunately the whole performance felt too fake and was incredibly disappointing.

I've been a fan of Britney Spears for years. A friend went to see her a few years ago and said it was great and I've always wanted to see her in concert. It was a good concert - lots of things going on, and it was pretty good even though she didn't sing, but we all know that she doesn't sing live so it didn't bother me.

For all the people who thought this show was nothing but a lip synching act. You were wrong.. by far this show was the most amazing entertaining concert I have ever been to. So amazing that I went twice in a row 3rd and 4th. For someone who attends over 4 concerts per year I can tell you that no one else has entertained me more than Britney did. Ok so her dancing wasn't as fast as she used to be, but then again she has had two children and has not performed in a long time. people just do not like to give credit where it is earned. the show gave me a performance, entertainment and a circus act what more can you ask for. I believe i got my moneys worth.

Britney was great though she didn't engage with the fans much and really didnt think she wanted to be there that much, there was a lot of time off stage for her also. The mechandise that most people want when going to a concert is way over priced, a programme that costs £20 is a joke!!!!!!!! surely thanks to the O2!!!!!!!!!! as is the price of food and car parking.

The whole set up was amazing - the triple circus ring set up, and the performing on each and every ring to each and every direction. Yes, Britney mimed through the whole thing - but by now, surely you can't be expecting her to sing live after all the press? Besides, given the amount of running around, popping up at different ends of the stage within seconds and dancing, who wants to hear what someone would sound like singing then?
She was sparkly and we loved it!!

The seats were amazing and so was the show. Britney was definitely back on top form as she delivered a highly energetic, fun, and unforgettable show which was so enigmatic you could'nt take your eyes off of her.
It was a visual delight with the various props and different 'sets' that she used on the stage, even to being pushed around the various rings inside of a cage for 'Piece of me', and floating around the stage in a picture frame, and being lifted into the air sat on a seat of two male dancers!!
This show is a must see for any Britney fan, and for any non-Britney fans, they just haven't seen the show yet...
