Favourite moment: Majority rule was the Porter - base humour for 9-11 year olds! @

Macbeth was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children I took to watch it. The script was brilliantly adapted for children and the songs were very catchy - the weird sisters song accompanied us all the way home!. So too did the knock knock jokes of the porter, who truly engaged the audience. Macbeth was dastardly and Macduff was heroic - well done Shakespeare4kidz!

First time ive been to see SHakespeare4kidz,,,so glad it exists! My 10 yr old is buzzing! When she spoke to her Dad on the phone it was all she could talk about so I know it was amazing! I am a Shakespeare fanatic and am so glad that it is accesable to children. I am going to see as many as possible of your performances!!!

Not knowing what to expect from a musical 'for kids' version of Macbeth we were agreeably surprised by the extremely high standard of the performance and the performers. The music and singing were appropriate, there was no dumbing down of the story and the set was suitably chilling and gothic.
The Witches were sinister and scary, Lady Macbeth convincing as a grasping manipulator, Banco loyal and Macbeth and Macduff brilliant as opposing forces of loyalty and ambition.
Well done Shakespear4kids.

I took my 9 year old daughter to watch this last night and it was brilliant. Aside from having to periodically bring her up to date with the plot via whispers (this was due to the actors playing more than 1 charactor, it confused her a little) the whole play was thoroughly enjoyable. I recently watch this play at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester and this was just as good. A special mention must go to the Porter for his segment just before the interval, very entertaining, and the second witch who put the fear of god into my daughter. All together a very enjoyable evening that i would recommend to anyone, as would my daughter (although they may be partly due to the fact that she got to stay up 2 hours past her bedtime).
