Saw Paulo at Leeds Academy - took 4 friends who are picky about their music and who were not sure about whether they would like him live and all came out raving about how brilliant he was and how great the band were. I love love his songs and delivery, and seeing them performed live is icing on cake. We all can't wait for a chance to see him again - just hope he doesn't just do big arenas after this tour, they are so impersonal.

Favourite moment: is there one? he started brilliant and finished brilliant, and in between he was brilliant. @
Setlist: thats a tough question to answer when you've had 12 pints of cider over your neck. @
Opening act(s): Liam Gerringer (I think) good folk type singer from australia who i think sounded a lot like newton faulkner. @

The wee man just gets better and better as he goes on, he seemed to have had a wee party before the gig but that made it even better, he never missed a note, had us all going tonto, I thought the 02 gig was great but because this was a bit more intimate it was much better, keep up the good work paolo the gongs will come dont you worry.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Paolo Nutini. He was in great voice and seemed to be in great spirits. His backing band was fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the brass section. The fact that the concert was in a relatively small venue, and that we were very close to the stage, gave the evening an intimacy which would not have been possible in an arena-type venue. By the way, Alex Gardner (supporting act) was also very good, and has an exceptional voice.

Real buzz of anticipation prior to gig, expectation was Paulo would need to step up a level now he's holding down a full tour and over the initial honeymoon of first album. He delivered. Simply took hold of the audience and sent them flying all over the place. Timing and delivery of each set of songs, really did make you feel you were involved.!!
This boy has barrel loads of talent and knows when and how to let you experience it.
Hoping more and more can experience same.

Setlist: pencil full of lead, last request, jenny don't be hasty, candy, coming up easy, new shoes @
Opening act(s): can't remeber the 1st support act wasn't to keen, but the 2nd support act Alex GArdiner was outstanding, the 5 of us liked him, he was a bit like the Script, fantastic voice and his songs had good melodies. @

The setting on the stage was brilliant, it was very retro, the backing band were outstanding, and Paolo is amazing. It was my 11 year old daughters 1st concert she is Paolo daft, and she cant wait to go back and see him again. Her favourite songs are new shoes, candy and pencil full of lead. But to be honest the guy owns the stage, plays the audience well and knows how deliver his songs well. At the end he went off the stage to" We'll meet again", and one thing is for sure after that concert we certainly will. The guy is a great singer and musician, not just on CD but live as well. One complaint he didn't sing rewind.

My review title may suggest i wasn't looking forward to this gig, i definitely was, but it turned out even better than i imagined. Paolo was brilliant and really seemed to enjoy himself. any chance to go see paolo live is one worth taking! he was brilliant as always and was so fun to watch perform. he played a range of both his old and new songs, as well as a few of his classic favourites, which was all just the perfect mix and him and his band really put on a show, while the two support acts were also really good, my favourite being the fist - will and the people. we were standing two rows from the front, so had a pretty awesome view, though apparently if your phone is on o2, there was a separate priority queue, as it was an o2 venue, but unfortunately i didn't find this out till after, otherwise i could have been even closer! all in all it was an awesome night and i would definitely recommend paolo live!
