This was a great event and I liked the fact that they got everyone up and dancing so i ended the evening with a sore throat from all the singing but it was well worth it.
I took my seven year old who loves singing and knows lots of the songs as well as My mother who is in her seventies who was up and waving her arms and singing. She really let her hair down for once.

abba mania was fantastic,the atmosfere was great the theatre was great very roomy they puy on a great performance had every one singing along and dancing would see them again brilliant night.

Attractive theatre and good sets
A good 2 hours plus of Abba favorites, well performed.
Every one was up singing and dancing and left happy.

A group of four of us went to see the show for a special occasion. We were extremely disappointed & will never go to see Abbamania again, & also would be reluctant to return to the Tyne Theatre. The following observations may give an indication of out level od dissatisafaction:
The 2 male band members looked bored silly
Costumes were amatuerish
Vocally they sounded nothing like Abba
The band looked as if they weren't enjoying the show (like a greater percentage of audience)
The theatre was probably less than 20% full & that's a generous estimate, hence no atmosphere
There was little audience engagement
The bar facilities were poor with very basic stock & poor quality drinks
The tickets were expensive for what the show offered

Im so sorry 2 say how disapointed i was with the Abbamania show. I felt like i was at butlins or at a poor wedding ngt do. We paid £22 each was very over priced 2 c 2 girls sing. No atmosphere and nothing like abba. The lights behind the drummer were poor im sorry but very upset 4 money we paid and was so looking 4ward 2 the show.

Too much backing tracks used, volume of which overpowered the vocals quite a lot. with the ticket price discounted and Seniors reduction price was about right

I went with my mum and was right at the front. it was an amazing night i was up dancing and singing all night i even had a sore throat the morning after!x
They interacted with the audience all the time.

We enjoyed Abba Mania very much but we were slightly annoyed at a hen party who were in front of us and decided to stand up in front of everyone and even ended up dancing at the very front of aisle so that the people who did not want to stand or who were not fit enough stand could only see the back of these dancers. I do appreciate that the music did make you feel like dancing but as the music was suitable for all ages and all ages were in the in the theatre that a little bit of thought for others would not have gone amiss after all everybody paid to see Abba Mania not just to hear it.
Abba Mania as a group were fantastic it was like listening to the real thing. Would definatly recommend it.

ABBA MANIA was absolutely superb! I would 100% recommend them! They travelled all the way down from Edinburgh to Liverpool the same day and where still excellent..the dance routines wer amazing, the costumes where fabulous and the singing was spot on! They had the whole theater on their feet! I will be definatly going again next year!
