The concert was good once it started however they were late by 3 and a half hours!!!!!!!! Not really what you want when you are stuck sat in a tiny chair with nothing to do but look at an empty stage and listen to their cd. I could of done that at home.
The concert was good though and my partner really enjoyed it. Don't expect anything fancy it's not ther style and I feel the performance was lost in the massive open space. They could have filled it better. Also the warm up act the Specials were dreadful and made the wait even more unbearable!!!

An amazing night the whole venue was bouncing to old and new tunes alike, if you like madness or remember those heady days back in the early 80's then you really should revist your youth!!!

You go to a Madness gig with high expectations only to have them exceeded. The support band did an excellent job and the videos and music during the wait for Madness were interesting and very effective in creating a happy, anticipatory mood. It was wonderful to see so many people wearing a fez or a hat. Once Madness hit the stage loads of people were on their feet dancing, singing along andthoroughly enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was great, the music was fantastic and the whole event was an amazing experience - roll on next year!!!!!

Madness were great fun as expected but was a little disappointed that they did not get on stage until 9:15pm, there was too much of a gap between the warm up act and Madness in my Opinion. Once they were on stage they were great so it was worth the wait in the end

I last saw Madness at the Hammersmith Odeon in the early eighties (I think) and they were fab. I got the tickets and took my 2 sons (16 and 23) to the O2 and I have to say I had some concerns that it would compare well. My fears were groundless. The crowd were fantastic and were clearly there to have a good time, the warm up band were brilliant, we loved the music that was played whilst the stage was being prepared and we were on our feet dancing from the moment Madness came on stage. Suggs was in great voice, the band was top rate and a great selection of songs. I loved one I haven't heard before about a homeless man, all the classics. Baggy trousers and Night Boat to Cairo took the roof off. A really memorable night for all of us.

My boyfriend loves Madness and I got these tickets for us both for his christmas present. What an amazing 24 hours. Madness were fantastic and got the fans bouncing around, were full of energy even though they were on their last leg of the tour and did not disappoint us one bit. Thanks guys ;o) They Odyssey in Belfast is a great place to be also.

Wish i'd have seen these guys sooner. Alot of the old stuff with a few of the new thrown in for good measure. They seemed to be having as much fun as we did. Although in the rear circle up in the gods which was not a very good view of the stage there was ample room for a good old shin dig! A little disapointed that they didn't make it to the two hour mark. I came away with a great big grin on my face - result!

This is what a concert is all about. Madness were, as ever, fantastic. They always provide a real party atmosphere and make it feel like one big house party. Only booked the tickets two days before the show, they were great tickets and the perfect start to Christmas.
Can't wait till next year!

On a freezing cold, foggy night we turned up at the O2 Academy in Glasgow to watch
Madness.
We had never seen them live before but had been told by friends that we would have a good night - and we certainly did !!!!!
Doors opened at 7pm and we where in and seated before you knew it.
Never seen so many middle aged men in pork pie hats and fez's before!!!!!!!!!!
No support group but plenty of ska music etc from the late 70's and early 80's to sing along too.
Madness came on stage at 8.50pm and the fun began.
Wall to wall hits.
Absolutely brilliant - first time seeing them but not the last.

Absolutely fantastic. As a child of the 80's who adored the Nutty Boys it was great to see them again. I have to admit I'm a lapsed fan who hasn't caught up with their reunions since they split in the mid 80's, in fact the last time I saw them live was in the early 80's at the City Hall.
I'd missed out on the evening tickets that sold out in a flash, but was chuffed when I found out that they were doing an afternoon show. Matinee Madness meant I could take the kids (9 & 12) and there were a few other families that had the same idea. I thought that it was my duty to show them the right way musically and try and get them away from the x-factor nonesense that currently pollutes our airways.
What a storming gig!! That is what music is all about. I have to admit to having a tear in my eye as the likes of Baggy Trousers boomed out - taking me back to happy times in my youth, and also looking at my kids thoroghly enjoying themselves. The songbook of Madness is top notch, so much so, that I picked "It Must Be Love" for one of my wedding songs recently. Every one is a winner, and some of the more recent stuff is good too. As always they look to be top blokes who enjoy putting on a show - it was great music.
Anyone that like me looks back on that period of the late 70's early 80's with fondness needs to get their ass intop gear and see them.

Support act on far to long and very into themselves. Much to much time spent changing set for Madness - what were they doing? PA absolutely rubbish. Sound at O2 not great at the best of times, but not helped by PA being turned un-necessarily up to loudest voume. Disappointing evening

Very good night with lots of bouncing around and dancing. Apart from the usual few drunken idiots was also a really good atmosphere in the crowd.
Suggs and the band were their usual entertaining selves and we all had a brilliant night.
