bought tickets for a friends birthday as I knew she loved The Rasmus, I knew quite a few songs of theirs too so was looking forward to going. A brilliant night with fantastic music and such a friendly band too!
Hopefully they tour again soon :)

I loved the show it was so good to see them in manchester again I hadnt seen them in over 6 yrs it was my hubbys first time and he enjoyed it to hopefully it wont be so long next time fab xxx

The Finnish quartet prove their popularity by selling out Academy 2. And rightfully so. A brilliant, lengthy set that did not lose the crowds interest. They played a mix of classic hits such as 'Guilty' and 'F-f-f-falling', alongside quirker numbers such as 'Chill'. The set was broken up by an acoustic session which allowed some audience interaction and a taste of the Finn's sense of humour, Lauri exclaiming that it is most definitely not music to slit your wrists to. This band proved their staying power; a classic that rock fans must see. They ended the night with a tribute to Oasis and a perfect encore. Spot on :)

from the moment that The Rasmus started to play the energy in the room grew, everyone was sing to the old and new songs. Worth every penny that I spent to go and see them play.

Amazing vocals with song after song delivered with true professionalism.
A great mix of old and new stuff - loved the anthemic 'Stranger' especially with the starry backlighting!
Gig had everything - Loud rock, acoustic session and audience participation
Was so impressed, I bought another ticket for the Nottingham gig as well :)

Excellent show, even support was good. Only slight criticism is that the music was so loud it drowned out the truly excellent singing and what happened to Ten Black Roses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the moment The Rasmus started to play it was as if I had written their play list, every song was the best from a great brunch. Lauri was as divine as ever and I realised then just how much I had missed them. They all seemed so at ease sharing a joke or too which made you feel as if you were all in it together. I last saw them at the Mean Fiddler back in 2008 where they were brilliant and I was so pleased that they are just as great as then. Of course In The Shadows brought the house down but every song was received with enthusiasm and having the acoustic set in the middle just makes it special. If I was to have one criticism it would be that the drums were a little overpowering or that Lauri’s mic needed to be turned up apart from that it was one of the best gigs I have been to. Love them now love them all always‼!

Can't quite explain how good they were, I wasn't expecting much for the ticket prices although they are only a smallish band, however I was greatly impressed, they are awesome live unlike some other bands, these guys can actually sing! Really touched out and hit the crowd, would definitely want tickets on their next tour!

Amazing concert, loved every minute of it, i didnt want it to end. I would definately attend another Rasmus concert and recommend it to anyone thinking of going. The setlist was brilliant incorporating older songs as well as the new ones. Will definately get tickets for the next tour.

Absolutely fantastic performance by the lads yet again. Nice to hear a mix of old and new favourites instead of all the new album. Great acoustic set in the middle which helps to highlight the bands quality as musicians, writers and performers.
Only downside was with the venue, the sound levels weren't great and the lighting on the front of the stage was very poor.
Great to see the band again though, will definitely be seeing them next time and I'd recommend any music lover to see them live, you won't be disappointed.

Travelled approx 140 miles to see The Rasmus and boy was it worth it. Firstly I must state that the venue was amazing - The Thekla is a moored ship that has been converted into a live music venue and also during the day is a great place for food and drinks. Well worth going to if you visit Bristol.

Now the main event, sadly didn't know the warm up band. However, when The Rasmus arrived on stage it went absolutely crazy! I was so close to the stage which I have never got so close before (no need for glasses or contact lens were needed). I was really pleased The Rasmus played a lot of tracks from Dead Letters as most people know these songs and the crowd participation was brilliant. There were the usual Finnish songs and the banter with the crowd was so funny. Where I was stood, I couldn'd see Aki or Eero very well (just arms or legs) but Lauri and Pauli I could see very well. Lauri is still energetic and really works the crowd - Pauli (my weakness) has become so much more confident on stage, really toyed with the crowd.

Seen this band every time they've played Manchester and they just get better and better. The gig was awesome!!! I'd recommend it. Ill be there again next time for sure!!
