Brian performed and excellent set to an appreciative audience in the intimate setting of Camden's Jazz Cafe on Saturday night. Early songs like Captured, Town and Hollow had the audience singing along with him, but it was the little anecdotes, amusing stories and asides that helped Brian to really engage. A very funny story about Van Morrison and Boy George (hopefully to be featured in the upcoming autobiography) introduced a medley of Van songs, Crazy Love, Tupelo Honey and Have I Told You Lately. Other highlights were the beautiful Christopher Street, penned by Brian himself when living in New York, and traditional Irish songs, Raglan Road and Carickfergus. The final song, You Raise Me Up left everyone uplifted and in high spirits after a great show.

Saw Brian Kennedy at the Camden Jazz Club last night and as ever he put on a great show. I have seen Brian many times and am always amazed by his voice, he is just brilliant. He didn't bring his band, just him and his guitar and to be honest he doesn't need a backing band. He has many amusing tales to tell during the show and involves the audience by taking requests and doing his best to fit everything in. If you have not seen this guy live yet you are missing out on a truly amazing singer.

Brian Kennedy was as usual, at his very best and most entertaining. There was a great surprise when he brought Dr Eddie Reader on to the stage as an unannounced Guest and sung a couple of duet's together.
The whole Concert was most entertaining.
