i have seen Deacon Blue perform live numerous times prior to their split in the 90's; to see them back together was great! revived good memories of those earlier years and Lorraine's still got it; she's still my idol!

absolutely brilliant, we had to travel two and a half hours to get there from wales! well worth it. lorraine has fantastic voice and dance routine, rickys not bad either! loved the water spray from mouth lol. 1 st time ever for me to a concert , cant wait to see them again, hope they do another. exellent venue at echo, polite staff, good crowds- just stop the sale of alcahol should get rid of the idiots !!

Well worth the money and would do again.

DB were on form @ the pops - their stage presence was second to none ! I dont think anyone sat in their seats for the whole show :0) The line up was spot on too. The support act were great, they played for over half an hour, although DB didnt last long - that was disappointing, bit short changed there.

The audience were a mixed bag though. The downside was that there were Lots of young girls in tiny dresses and MASSIVE heals and hair extensions - not very happy to be in the throng of the crowd being danced next to - they complained loudly throughout - ruined the vibe a bit. This continued into the ladies where there was lots of smoking cigs, special cigs and coke snorting galore - in full view !!!!!!!!!!! ITS A CONCERT - NOT A NIGHTCLUB !!!!!!!!!!

The VIP tickets were worth every penny - we had a great night!

The music, people and food and drinks were excellent.

The best bit was afterwards avoiding the crowds and going back to the VIP room for drinks, coffee and nibbles until midnight.

The only thing stopping a 5 star rating was the omission of Chocolate Girl and I'll Never Fall in Love Again!

TOOK MY HUBBY TO CONCERT FOR A SURPRISE AND HE LOVED IT. EVERYONE WAS UP DANCING AND SINGING ALONG. MARY AND RICKI EXCELLENT VOICES!!!

Ricky Ross and co were awesome - they needed to be at the top of their game to overcome just about the noisiest crowd I have ever encountered.
The highlights were the clever inclusion of My Love and Ricky's passionate discourse on Hillsborough which brought rapturous applause. During the well known hits the crowd participated brilliantly singing along and invoking a party atmosphere par excellence.
Sadly during the quieter and less well known numbers the crowd were boorish and downright loud - chatting to each other and friends and relatives on their mobile 'phones. The Arena needs to get a grip on the drinking as there was a constant stream of people disappearing and returning with copius amounts of alcohol - some amazingly sure fotted others less so.
The 'Dignity' finale was everything that could be expected - inclusive, emotive and tearing at the heart strings.
Great concert - 5 star but for the noise (my fellow citizens fabulous and frustrating in almost equal parts!!).

I must have seen Deacon Blue 20 times at least and they never disappoint. Liverpool has adopted them as their own and the bond between audience and band is palpable.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the songs are brilliant and everyone left with a smile on their face.

A great live band and I would recommend them to everyone young and old my mum came and she is 72! Get tickets next time they are in ‘Your Town’ and I guarantee you will love it!

We travelled from Bristol to Liverpool for this event. My partner loves Deacon Blue especially Dignity. The arena was new and you could see the stage clearly from every seat. Brilliant concert they sounded as good\live as they do on cd. Would go and see them again. Maybe they might come to Bristol

These guys are top notch. Lorraine was singing just for me (what a voice) although the guys either side of me reckoned she was singing for them. Top band, top venue. They are a great live act and as a non-scouser I have to say the Liverpool crowd are great. They make an effort and really add to the atmosphere. Bottom line is the quality of Deacon Blue. The secnd best gig I've ever been to - the best was Deacon Blue at Liverpool in 2008.

my husband and i saw deacon blue for the first time about 4 years ago and have seen them a few times since then. we were bowled over the first time and they just get better - ricky ross has such stage presence. although we are both almost 60 , we go to as many gigs as we can , seen springsteen seven times , stones etc , deacon blue are up there with the best !

What an absoloutely amazing and unforgettable night started off by a local up and coming talent, Steven langstaff absoloutely blew us away with a raw and fresh performance - so good we bought his cd on the way out. Then came what i can only describe as possibly the best concert performance i have ever seen by the best group that has ever graced the world music scene, i could close my eyes and be back in the eighties, i would recomend it to anyone because the echo arena was really well organized apart from the umbrella collection station wich was absoloute chaos but funny. Nothing could detract from the show though and i am still buzzing and just wish it was tonite again, thanks ticket master.
