Would have given a 5 star rating, but seen the original Eagles a couple of years ago. Saying that, the Illegal Eagles are the next best thing.

On Sunday 6th December I went with my Husband to the Liverpool Empire to see the Illegal Eagles, They where all great musicians and all had fantastic voices

I have been a fan of the Eagles since forever, but these guys take the biscuit! Such a talented band - all of them. Amazing musicians - just too good to miss! My night was one of those to always be remembered. I could not recommend them enough. Their professionalism warmed the audience up perfectly - leaving us all at the end of their show wanting MORE AND MORE. To conclude:- Illegal Eagles come back to Liverpool soon!

I went not knowing what to really expect from a tribute group but they were absolutely fantastic. Very professional and all very talented musicians. I bought the tickets for my boyfriend who is an Eagles fan and he said they were note perfect. I would recommend this band to anyone whether an Eagles fan or not.

Went to see this group on Sunday 6th December at Liverpool Empire. If you shut your eyes there was no telling they were not the real deal. The lead singer was extremely good giving the band the authenticity which matched their musical talent. Would recommend any Eagles fans to go along to one of their concerts or even if you just enjoy good music to chill and listen to.

Illegal Eagles at Liverpool Empire were simply fantastic. They performed old and new tracks and sounded both vocally and musically as good as the real deal. They entertained from start to finish, the harmonies were spot on and the way they varied the song choices between old and new kept us all interested throughout. If any Eagles fans get the chance to see them I guarantee they won't be disappointed. p.s Keith Attack still looks as good as he did in Child.

I promise you if you book to see this band you wont be disappointed. Each singer and musician offers something different. I have seen many bands live as I`m in to indie and rock music and I dont think im there typical audience member as I think I was on of the youngest there but i really enjoyed and would recommed this show to anyone.

We have seen them several times, they rock, last night was no exception. My only complaint was the sound quality. Half way through the concert, I had to go and tell the sound mixers that the guitars on the left of the stage, did not come through the speakers on the right hand side where we sat. We missed out on the lead and slide guitars, which was quite annoying. Still we enjoyed every minute of the show.

Never done this before so here goes.Went to see this band on the reccomendation of a friend and was amazed at the quality of both the vocals and the instrumentation.
the atmosphere created was terrific and was enjoyed by a mixed age audience.
One has to wonder when are tribute bands going to surpass the real thing.This band must be very close to that point

The Illegal Eagles closed their Autumn tour last night in storming style, leaving the Liverpool crowd up on their feet, buzzing and begging for more!

An amazing assembly of musicians. From left to right of stage (no-one should come last in THIS band) Keith Atack, master of slide and keyboard (Long Run, Heartache Tonight", "Desperado", "End of the Innocence"). Christian Phillips, beautiful vocals throughout (End of the Innocence, Love Will Keep Us Alive), no slouch on guitar either. Danny Vaughn melting hearts with Desperado and rocking us home with encore 'Life in the Fast Lane'. Michael Lawrence, vocals soaring into the lighting rig and beyond on "Hole in the World", venomous attack on "Somebody", a fine guitarist too. Founder Phil Aldridge in command with tight, Eaglemeisterly drumming, also providing sensitive, atmospheric keyboard to Keith's crowd-stilling, from-the-heart "I Dreamed There Was No War" and finally Chris Childs, so much happening on stage around his intricate bassline but LISTEN to that man!

Not to mention the breathtaking harmonies! These are my highlights but there was so much more - you had to be there!

What a great concert. Was not expecting that level of musicianship and all executed in a relaxed but professional manner. Well worth seeing and will definitely go and see them again. The lead singer's hair had us all fascinated!!

Went to watch this band last night at The Liverpool Empire and I'm still buzzing.
If you cant get to see the real deal then definately go and see these guys - they were absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I've never been fortunate enough to see The Eagles so can only compare with their cd's - OMG I didnt want it to end; they had everybody singing, clapping and dancing in the aisles....I'd best shut up now and get on with some work as I could go on forever!!!

A must for all Eagles fans - and of course Danny Vaughn fans too :-).
The band were so tight, and note perfect to the original band.
A wonderful set of Eagles classics, new & old.
Each and every member of the band truely amazed us with their singing and instrument playing.
Wow - a gig certainly not to be missed.

As far as gigs go this was simply the best, it tugged at all of the emotions - gentle and seductive at times then at others raw and raunchy. There was an ingredient that appears to be missing with many bands these days, these guys appeared to like each other and to really enjoy what they were doing, they transported you back in time to a much nicer existence - there was a feeling of peace, love and understanding and not the usual feeling of despair that many of the modern artists seem to portray with consumate ease - all in all a joy to witness.

I had booked the tickets to take a fellow Eagles fan after having watched the Illegal Eagles a few times before and been blown away. The 2 key members of the band, the guitarist and the lead singer being critical members making the Eagles experience one to treasure.
Unfortunately, this time around both key members have been replaced by 3 new guys, all of which are very very talented, both vocally and musically, but somehow the band lacked the sparkle and magic that the former members held together.

The set list was excellent, with all hits and some different renditions being played to make the show more interesting, all of which were very well executed.
I didnt really rate the sound of the gig very highly. We were in a prime spot in the middle of the Empire theatre, and based on past experience, was expecting the sound to be impeccable, but it wasnt. I couldnt hear the wonderful guitar tones of (in my opinon) the best guitarist Kieth Altack. The bass and drums however, were very loud and sounded fantastic!

All in all, a great show, but it did lack the final magic and polish of previous line-ups
