We got excellent seats centre stage at the very front and we didn't even book much in advance! The standard of performance was brilliant, we watched it a few years ago and it has improved so much on an already brilliant show. It was a great atmosphere and we had a brilliant time, definately recommend it to anyone!

fantastic show my whole family including my 3yr old was fasinated, she loved the monkey man and the plate spinning act my hubbie like it all and I loked everything except where the guys stuck things in their chests I had to close my eyes!!!

I took my 8yr old grandaughter to the Chinese State Circus on Sunday - it was brilliant.
I couldn`t believe that so few people could put on such a varied and professonal show - they all worked so hard. I will definately go and see them when they are in Leicester again and would say to everyone `if you`re thinking of going, make the decision and go`.

A Thrilling Performance!!

I went to the performance with a friend, and we both agreed the show was fantastic!! Some of the acts made the audience give an audible gasp and we were amazed by the sheer professionalism. The only downside was that we were unable to see one act which was virtually all at ground-level, but other than that, full marks for a terrific evening out!

i have view such a fantastic show THE CHINESE STATE CIRCUS. i was speechless at the moment the participate was performing their art which was just superb.., i just really cant believe such a dangerous stunt they have done,
i m giving standing avaition to all perfomer.

With ringside seats we were really able to see all the action in full and detail. The Shoalin monks even came around the edge of the ring to let the audience "feel" bricks and metal rods promptly before cracking it over their head and breaking it!

Nice little story of China is told in movement and action, good and relatively cheap family entertainment.

If you like a show which does not require singing generic songs by a bunch of retards, then this is surely for you. Not as good as the as "O" by Cirque Du Soliel in the Bellagio, Las Vegas but hell this is Victoria Park, Leicester so is as good as it can get.

We went to the Chinese State Circus as a family - all six adults and six children - all different sizes and ages - and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. From the swinging poles to the silk acrobats, each act was well choreographed and beautifully ochestrated. The costumes were brilliantly colourful and everyone was very welcoming. We would recommend it for all.

As always, the Chinese acrobats gave a brilliant show.
Combined with impressive and thrilling performance, they were passionate and artistic as well.

Wow! What a really enjoyable afternoon. When we arrived and were seated I thought what a small area there was for the performers but, gee, how well they used it. My family and I were totally enthralled through the entire event. From the Monkey King, through the Chinese Dragons and the amazing contortionists - truely breathtaking. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who asked.

The event was very exciting, very colourful and highly entertaining. There was something for everyone of all ages and the program lasted for nearly two hours with a short interval. I recommend the event to anyone with or without children and I am planning go again next time they tour in my area. Note, cameras and video recorders were not allowed inside the main tent .
The only criticisms I have include the poor advertising of the event, only a few posters were placed in my area and I only found out by word of mouth. Secondly I have been told discount vouchers were made available from some shops and cafes but this was not indicated in any of the advertising.
Good venue, very happy with event!

Well organised event. Highly entertaining with some death defying stunts. Good for both adults and children. Quality of the cast outstanding, some of the acts where truely amazing. Would certainly recommend. Snacks/fast food available onsite.

Hello all just to tell you about this circus.
this is the 3rd time i have been there and they never truley seize to amaze me.
Not on is every performer full of energy and amazingly good physical form and can perform such moves one would dream to have.
Whether its doing back flips or being as flexible and full of energy and they are not no teenagers, if i get to that age and be full of that much energy i would be so lucky.
Not only do they provide you with a great show but they also have the comedy value to just make their show great.
Some stunts they perform are breathtaking and you would think - how do they do it?.
They are so very friendly and always smiling just as grateful to you for coming than you are to them for showing us something different !
This is not no ordinary clown circus - this is a chinese cultural performance!
if your into the chinese culture or not you will get a great bit of history and learn something good and amazing of how different our worlds can be.
all in all i would say this is one show i would see over and over again, each time ive been there has been some different acts in the show and seeing the same acts never gets boring just because they are that good.

I Just wish they allow you to video it or take pictures! its something i wanted to take home with me and wanted to show my friends.
