The shows gone down hill in 4 years.

I came to the show having not seen Joseph in 4 years and was full of excitment..
I watched the show in shock and horror at how poor it was, compare it to the show i saw in london and blackpool and manchester with the likes of darren day, jason donavon, phil schofield and many others, and it looks like a school production.
The cast do all they can, but are given little to work with, the show overall, looks cheap, tacky and has totally put me off ever wanting to see it again

Went to see Joseph on the 23.10 in Manchester. Fantastic. Smiled from start to finish. I saw the show in Manchester and twice at Llandudno, twice with Steve and once with Craig. Steve was completely engaging in the role and full of enthusiasm, a fantastic Joseph. My daughter was in the Joseph choir and so I know he was as engaging on stage as he was friendly and enthusiastic with the children backstage. He puts everything into the performance as Joseph and also when he plays Asher, one of the brothers -very watchable!!. Steve usually does the Wednesday and Saturday matinees. So if they announce he’s on instead of Craig – you will NOT be disappointed.

just as the curtain went up it was announced that Craig Chalmers was unable to perform and that Stephen Kirwan who normally plays brother Asher stood in. Initially I was disappointed however no need, Stephen was phenominal, I ve since been to she the show in Llandudno with my kids and seen Craig star in the leading role, however my eyes continued to be diverted to Stephen (Asher) and Stephen Webb was great too. Keep it up boys it was truly AMAZING

Great show, lots of comedy and singing fantastic, especially the narrator. Unfortunately Joseph was ill so played by the understudy but he was still very good. Loads of kids there who seemed to really enjoy it. Audience encouraged to get up and dance at the end which was loads of fun.

Took son to see Joseph when on in Manchester - was brilliant!! Althought the leading role changed on the day the performance was great - in fact the whole cast was outstanding. Costumes were fantastic and all of the cast looked as though they were really enjoying themselves!

A very enjoyable evening. All the singers had powerful voices with a good range that projected well into the theatre. The costumes and characters were bright and colourful and also projected humour e.g. the sheep! The stage was well used and scenery/lighting/special effects very good.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyed evening and the only regret was that we hadn't booked tickets for another performance.

I saw joseph a couple of times a few years ago with my then small children, we all thoroughly enjoyed it, so I returned to watch it last week with two of them, and apart from some of the original songs and music, it was unrecognisable - Elvis, the Eiffel tower, cowboys - what happened to the original production? Other people seemed to enjoy it, they'd obviously not seen it before. We won't be returning!

What a fantastically written play, this is the best show ( after the Lion King ) I have ever seen. Unfortunately the cast let it down a bit, it was like watching a play from your local amateur production. I wish I had gone to see the original.

cast worked so hard and obviously had fun performing. Stephen played Joseph amazingly - as was Pharoah. My family really enjoyed the show but the theatre was disappointingly empty.

Joseph was an awesome musical. went to see it at the white rock in Hastings with Craig Chalmers playing Joesph, he was really good and i got to meet him after! The choir were really good, the brothers i thought were really funny and as for mr Pharao, he was awesome!

Fast moving, energetic, particularly enjoyed the calypso number - brilliantly danced and sung. Elvis Pharoah perhaps not best I have seen.

What a way to spend an evening - the entertainment was excellent and appreciated by the audience - young and old. The actors' performances really brought life to the show and it was wonderful being able to forget all my worries for an evening. Well done everyone.

The night we went, Joseph was the understudy but it was amazing despite that - it must be unforgettable when the proper Joseph is on! The singers were all really good - especially the children who sat so patiently when other action was going on. A really funny show - not what I was expecting, but better!

i have now seen 5 of the touring shows
2 in brighton 2 in eastbourne and 1 at hastings
and they just got better and better
the main cast were all fabulous and the choirs magnificent
but then a bit biased my grandaughter was in it
well done to everyone and i would definitly go again
loved joseph since as long as it has been around
