We sat 6 rows from the stage - just far enough out of his line of view but close enough to thoroughly enjoy his performance.

Very clever act and so very funny.

This was the second time I have seen Al Murray this year. saw him at the O2 and now in Ipswich. He was absolutely hilarious and really went for the audience in a big way being the last date of his year long tour. Will definitely go and see him on his next tour

Admire anyone who can stand alone on a stage and do their thing and AM did it with gusto but the show really lacked content. Lots of us were there on the back of the successful tv series. Shame it did not transfer to the stage so well.

Not having celebrity guests AM tried to bounce off of various members of the audience who sat close enough which really did not get going. The act lacked content and there was a great deal of very annoying repetition, the same phrase said over & over & over.....

Going to see a professional comedian in D O'Brien at £19.50 makes AM's £25.00 a ticket look vastly overpriced.

Al Murray at the Ipswich Regent was brilliant. He had amazingly funny jokes that had everyone in stitches. I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to go to one of his gigs, especially if you need a laugh. Money well spent.

I bought tickets for this performance on a whim! But what a good night out we had. It was so easy, I booked the tickets on line, which was really easy. A few weeks before the performance date the tickets arrived through the letter box. So with tickets in hand we headed for ipswich, found parking and walked through the door's of the Regent to be thoroughly enertained for the next couple of hours. Full house and a really uplifting atmosphere. What else could you ask for. I will definately book with ticketmaster again.

Al came on and it was two hours of what it says on the tin!!! He had plenty to say about the credit crunch and other of the moment subjects, but more often than not by using audience participation, he let us do the talking!

Not for the PC minded...thank god

al murray is funny from start to finish...his explanations of why things are how they are is fantastic...his theory on broken britain and that jesus is british just has you in stitches.

if you have tickets situated anywere near the front 15 rows then prepare to be annihilated but in an extremely hilarious manner. great value for money! will definately be going again!

Upfront and personal. Beautiful British night out with the best entertainer Britain has to offer. Al Murray is a peoples person and has plenty of time for his fans after the show. Best night out for belly aching laughs from a very intelligent guy.
