I have never enjoyed a pantomine as much as Peter Pan at the Empire. Les Dennis is truly fantastic and Henry Winkler is just the best. My son has never laughed so much. The whole set up and costumes and performances were truly amazing. Loved it - was a really great start to our Christmas.

Great family fun with a little bit of local Liverpool humour and the once coolest man on the planet hamming it up as Captain Hook/ Mr Darling.
The cast were all briliantly funny especially Les Dennis and it gave us all a fantastic start to Christmas.
Henry Winklers end of show speech was heartwarming!
Kids loved shouting out and being squirted by water pistols.
Thanks for a great show.

Disappointing after last year's Empire panto with Cilla Black
Cast seemed to be going through the motions, very amateurish
Went to better panto at local St Helens theatre, far more laughs than the Empire panto
Definitely not worth the ticket price ( £29.50 )

I'm not sue that Peter Pan lends itself well to a traditional Christmas Pantomime. Although enjoyable the story line was very dense and didn't leave much time for the traditional panto gags as there was so much to get through. Les Dennis was brilliant as ever in panto but Natasha Hamilton has no comic timing.

This was a perfect production for our family- toddler parents grandparents and adult friends.
The pace was kept up and we could hear well from the upper circle.
The flight from London to Nevernever Land was magical and so cleverly done with films over London - where I grew up.
Les Dennis was a great Dame and I thought his spot with the children so sensitive but funny. He did not make them uncomfortable but picked up on their curious ways looking up in the flies or backstage etc.As a teacher I admired his skill and way with them.
My grand daughter aged two and a half did not want to go home and had sat rivetted for the whole show. Please could you extend our thanks to Les Dennis and cast.

What a wonderful evening....I bought the tickets for my wife's birthday in October.
We were travelling from Cornwall to visit our friends in Liverpool and thought it would be great to go and see a panto with our friends. It was our last night in Liverpool and what a great evening we had. Worth every penny! Les Dennis was BRILLIANT. Particular mention to the young girl who played Wendy.....she was excellent. "Well done" to everyone concerned in producing a panto of such a high standard....we will be back!

I really loved the Peter Pan panto when I was a little girl so I was excited when it came to the Liverpool Empire so I could take my little boy. It was lovely to see Natashia again, as we used to live in the same street. Henry Winkler well we love him no matter what he does but I thought Les Dennis stole the show. It was lovely also to have the all scouse crew as we could relate to the humour more.

I went to see Peter Pan with my mum, nan, auntie and my friend. I really enjoyed the show! I thought Les Dennis was fabulous and really funny! Henry Winlker was really good as Captain Hook and mum and nan loved seeing him. They remember him from Happy Days.
I thought the actress who played Wendy Darling was great and had a really good singing voice.
I was a bit disapppointed with Natasha, I have been an atomic kitten fan and I thought she would talk more with the audience. She seemed a bit nervous, although her singin was good I wished se would have been a bit more fun??
All in all though I loved it and a special mention to the lost boys and the girls who played the indians because they were really good!

This was my first professional pantomine and I really enjoued it. Since I am an American, I was particularly drawn by the fact that Henry Winkler (the Fonz) was in it and thought he did a splendid job. My wife and I brought two grandchildrn (boys age 10 and 7) who both had a great time. The elevator concked out and I think the theatre management did an outstanding job in getting everyone into accessable seats.
A topic of conversation after the show wan if Nana, the dog 'kisubg' her foot was an accident or planned for an extra laugh.
Bringing the four children up on stage was really amusing.
I have a feeling everyone expected Mr. Winkler to say more at the end of the show.
Thanks for a really enjoyable evening.

peter pan at the liverpool empire was absolutely brilliant. as you would expect with a panto it was fun for both kids and adults. however, there was also plenty of improvisation when small mistakes did happen which only added to the fun.
the whole cast were great especially les dennis who was equally good in cindarella last year.
henry winkler (the fonze) was the true professional we had expected and didn't milk his happy days fame for all it was worth.
overall... a definate 5 star show!

What a waste of money. Spent over £150 on tickets + more on travel, parking, drinks etc to take the family to see this. Main reason for us going to this one was to see and hear Natasha Hamilton in the lead role of Peter Pan. Arrived at the theatre to find she would not be appearing and an understudy would be performing the role. Ok had to accept that but you'd think the understudy to a top singer would be able to sing. Unfortunately she couldn't and because of that they cut several songs from the show.
There were the odd bits of humour but overall it was a very lack lustre performance and hardly inspired the audience to join in. Les Dennis and Daniel Taylor were probably the best and deserved better than this. I've since written to the Theatre management to enquire why the show was cut short. Had one acknowledgement to say the General Manager is on hols until 4th Jan and I can expect a reply when she returns.

We went to the last performance of this panto and it was really hilarious. There were a few hiccups and things that went wrong, but how the cast dealt with them really made the show. I haven't laughed so much in ages. We are definitely going to the panto at the Empire next season. My 2 and a half year old son enjoyed it, my husband and I (mid 30's) enjoyed it, and my mum (mid 60's) enjoyed it too. Fun for all.
