This was the first time Demon Hunter have played in the UK and it was well worth the wait. These guys are the best metalcore I've ever seen and the show, because of the venue, was both a powerful and intimate experience. A good mix of songs right across their 5 albums every one was tight and dynamic as I would of expected from this experience group.
Although the openers were promising (apparently just signed) they looked like a school talent content once DH powered up. DH's has a powerful recipe of the best of death style vocals, angry rock and surprisingly melodic ballad pieces.
Perhaps I'm biased since music in general only exploded for me listening to the Seattle sound of the nineties and this just adds layers of molten steel to the core ideal.
The only down to this show was the short 1 hour slot (including encore) but I won't knock any stars off for leaving me wanting more.
