Opening act(s): Musicle music- L.A. band, excellent example of why not to judge a book by its book cover. A little cookie but very entertaining. The girl can really hit some high notes @

They were fantastic live. They had superb acoustic set up, so you can hear all the lyrics without being drowned out by any instruments or the crowd. They were real crowd pleasers and a must for anyone, from the die hard fan to the 'yeah i have one of their albums"

class from start to finish. franz ferdinand we ledge every tune was awesome, the stage show was class, their energy and vocals were quality.
not sure about the band before, good singer but the music was slightly too loud. slightly weird really.
but franz more than made up for it, utterly brilliant

FF are one those few bands that are even better live than in the studio. Always well worth seeing, they gave another energised heart and soul performance. With musicians like this there are no need for fancy costumes changes. This venue is small which made it all the worthwhile to see.

We were seated upstairs at the O2 in Brixton which I wasnt mad about (because of their no standing policy) but they were the only tickets i could get. Turns out it didnt mattar as Franz filled the room with energy and the sound was still great. Would have loved to have been dancing away downstairs but it was an awesome concert anyway.

Great gig. The boys had enormous charisma and energy. They played all the old faves. The audience was a good mix of old slappers like us, and youngsters of all sexes. The floor of Brixton academy was as sticky as ever, and you got the usual people singing and clapping along too loudly for us to actually HEAR THE BAND.

We had no idea that this was going to be a late late gig! I don't recall any warning on the booking stating that there was going to be a DJ and guest playing for hours before the main act. The result is that we had to leave before they even got on the stage. We live a good distance away and it would have cost a bomb to stay. I'm gutted and really irritated that I wasted the money.
