I didn't know the play or the names of any of the actors, however the evening turned out to be a fantastic experience. Our seats in row D where brilliant, ensuring a perfect view of the incredible stage set. The story is one of Shakespeare's mix-up of characters, this time two sets of twins. The comedy was funny, and set in current times with the cast wearing street-clothes and suits it was easy to forget that this is a play written in the 16th century.
This is my first time visiting the theatre since its renovations. The exterior is somewhat underwhelming and the bar and public areas are quite unwelcoming, however the auditorium seems vastly improved with the apron stage which I imagine would afford the majority of the audience a good view.
