Having sat down and realised that we were in a block of seats occupied almost entirley by Wasps supporters, I have to say my confidence in Bath's ability took a bit of a nose dive. Particularly irritating was the guy immediately in front of me, who kept waving his Wasps flag in my face.
However, the opening ceremony, the singing, and the tribute to the troops was emotional and set the scene for a great game. After a few tense opening moments Bath took comtrol of the game, and it was a treat. By half time Mr Irritation had sat down and stopped waving the flag, and his wife/partner/significant other started giving me dirty looks every time I got on my feet to cheer Bath when they scored. Shame they left early, they missed Wasps only try!!
Sadly, I couldn't have a proper drink after the game, as I had to work a night shift, but it was a great match and a great event.
Well chuffed to be there.
