Accurate but up to date

Managed the difficult balancing act of keeping the original flavour, with bringing the references up to date. This meant you do not need to be an expert in Greek history to be able to understand all the jokes, and kept the words in the modern idiom. The actors were excellent and original bawdiness was conveyed very well. A clever use of actors swapping from parts into the chorus, Would love to have seen it again and hopefully catch their next one. Genuinely funny as you could tell by the reaction of packed audience. Hopefully a new generation will now appreciate that Aristophanes is hilarious as a similar group did for me 20 years ago.
