I have to say the performance was allright my 3 year old enjoyed it although dissapointed that none of songs he knew were featured in it all new ones. also a lot of back ground noise with little ones crying etc quite hard to hear and concentrate and he did seam to loose interest at times. Have to say we have the original bob the builder live on Video and it is far better much more entertaining.
Can I also say the whole event was spoilt by the venue carry on, first we get a letter saying do nothing then we get a phone call and a letter saying we must contact a premium rate number to transfer out tickets which I did and still ended going to the box office for 10.00am on the day of the performance to collect the tickets and filling the rest of the day in in town with a 3 year old, not the best way to spend a cold Saturday afternoon.

although a change in venue, my little boy was still very excited about this event! I think it was quite a good venue as much more space, however where our new seats were allocated meant that when the show started we missed seeing some of the main characters(Lofty) so quite a few of us in those seats chose to move to a better position.
I was a little disappointed that considering this was supposed to mark the 10th anniversary of Bob there were many of the main characters missing! My little boy and his friend did enjoy but I felt that we paid wuite a lot of money for not a lot of bob!

We only got to see half the stage and paid for full price tickets.
My children thought the production was OK, but we've seen much better productions recently from Noddy and CBeebies last year.

The tunes were uncatchy, a few stars such as Roley and Muck were missing and they over sold the recycling message yet the kids were still very happy!

Bob the builder was brilliant. Great visual experience for anyone who loves life at Sunflower Valley. My 2 year old sat mesmorised and joined in with all the songs and actions. The stage was close enough to get a great view. The merchandise was great and realistically priced. Great day out for all the family!! Highly recommende.

well where shall i start parts of the scenery failed to work or fell off, went on to long didn't hold childrens attention, went on about green issues to much, children expected more of a story line about bob, wendy, and pilchard. There was no pilchard not enough interaction with the children in the audience. What a waste of time and money

Whitley Bay playhouse was a very inviting place, the staff were very helpful. The show itself was enjoyed by both myself and my 2 year old son. He really enjoyed the storyline, the characters and never got bored at any time, (which i was afraid he might). Really good, i will be recommending it in the future. Thank You!

We were a bit disappointed overall, it started late and as it was aimed at children would have been better to start on time as they were already restless at this point.
I also didn't feel there was a need for a break, again it made the children restless.
It would have been better if there were more songs and less about recycling (it did feel as if the message was enforced several times too many!)

After the event being changed to a different location i was a bit worried about my seats as i had booked to go with my 2 and a half year old grandson, but i need not have worried as the seats were amazing, the event was spectacular and my grandson was amazed at the "diggers". I cant normally keep him amused when hes with me so this ticked all the boxes. Well worth the money and will try for tickets if Bob comes back to Newcastle, Thank you

In comparision to previous Bob live shows this was very poor. I was left feeling for the first time by one of these kiddy type shows well and truley ripped off! We have seen Bob live previously which was so much better than this it was untrue. For a start my children couldn't determine when Bob was supposed to be speaking, for two reasons firstly the show didn't include the voice of Neil Morrisey and secondly because Bob's mouth didn't move. I can understand why the story line is based around recyclying but if the shows producers had made their primary intent to entertain the children rather than to preach to them about the importance of recycling I think my children would have enjoyed this an awful lot more. All of the childrens shows on TV have an educational message which is how it should be, but in this procuction the story line was so weak that the only time the children were engaged was when they were singing. In all i don't think that if we were to go to a holiday camp performance of Bob the Builder we would have noticed any difference other than the use of the remote controlled models.

This show includes all the kids much loved characters, including the vehicles driving around the stage so the kids enjoy it. Only one mishap was Dizzy's mounth falling off, but Bob fixed it for the next scene. Merchandise pricing a little bit expensive and signage not next to correct items!

Bob the Builder 10th Anniversary Tour was rubbish. My husband and I took our just 3 year old Grandson. The theme for the show was 'Recyclying' rubbish . We thought it was very poor considering we paid almost £60 for the 3 tickets. Lots of other children other than our Grandson were not captivated by the show. The venue was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Shame about the show

The stage was a bit small for the vehicles and the recycling message was a bit heavy going and repeated too much rather than being fun for children.

This was a very low tech show with the vehicles very limited in their operation. No sign of Muck, but then we had been disappointed that Bristol was called off at the last minute because of access problems, the show was probably rejigged to take Muck out of the equation. However, my two year 11 month old son enjoyed it and it held his attention for most of the time. Shame that the theme (recycling) was thrown at us non stop and that Bob didn't actually build anything. Would have been better if there had been less dialogue and more songs that the children could have recognised.

this was a very poor show, poor content, amaturish . Songs where all unknown by the children, no inter action with the small children apart from blowing the wind turbines - The scarcrow Spud had the biggest part. Pilchard the cat not there or Muck We where extremely disappointed
