This was my first ever concert. My dad and I arrived at the Wembley Arena at about 5pm .
The doors opened at 6:00pm.
we got got settled in and talked to the people around us and then lost alone started their set at about 7:30pm they were quite good actually . But as with many support acts not given the best mix. Strong vocals and catchy music.

At 8:25pm The Used came on stage. Good music, but what a crap singer ,awful voice, out of tune and strained. Too much swearing and hard core, what a muppet!

Then at 9:30pm Evanescence came on. Amy Lee running out in her new flag skirt opening with what you want and singing the lines '' do what you what you want if you had a dream for better"
and then she sang going under.

later on that night they played never go back and they played it in a lower key, i think it was a good idea cause she didnt sound too strained. after that they played my favourite song call me when you're sober and she sung it very well pitching all the long tiring notes with ease.then she sung imaginary and then bring me to life and blimy she sing that beautifly.

then they did their last load of songs with disappear, swimming home and then the finale with my immortal and at the end of the show all of them got the UK flag out and shown it to the crowd

The band was awesome and the show lasted about 1hr 20mins and I had a good view from S9 Q 107

If you hear they are coming to a city near you get tickets because they are so amazing.

I've been a huge fan since the very beginning and have waite many years to finally see Evanescence and I can just say it was well worth the wait.. the small intimate setting of the Birmingham o2 Academy made for a much more personal vibe during the whole show. Amy Lees performance was faultless as expected and the whole set was just perfect down to a tee. The support bands (ME and The Pretty Reckless) warmed the audience up nicely. In all it was an unforgettable experience and I would strongly recomment the o2 Academy for anyone who wants to miss out all the chaos of mosh pits and pushing and shoving you usually get at the larger arenas, and who just wants a nice experience to remember.

I went to see Evanescence 2 years in a row in Manchester, both at the Apolio and MEN Arena and it was fantastic :D i have been a fan of Ev since their debut album Fallen and been dieing to see them, it made my whole world and it is my dieing wish to see all my favorite bands as many times as possible (not that i'm actually dieing but you get my drift) lol. The sound was amazing, although i feel i didn't get enough performing time from them i still am grateful to of seen them, i would love a full concert from them though as i bought a new compact camera i wish to record and store to look back on, Amy Lee has a voice of an angel, i also love Within Temptation but my first time seeing them will be next january, if only i knew they were performing in 2011 i would of gone. Amy Lee has inspired me with her music so much and i can sing myself and my singing could not of been better if it wasn't for the hours just having singing marathons to the albums lol ^_^ but don't miss out on seeing them while you have the chance because they will rock your socks off quite litterely lol.

It had been a couple of years since I had last seen Evanescence live although this was at a festival and not indoors.
The main reason for attending this gig was to take my little sister who is a big Evanescence fan and this was in fact going to be her first concert.

Support came from The Used who arent really a band I am into although I would think that after the years they have been together and the album output that they would be headlining their own shows?
The crowd themselves either didnt really care about this band or didnt know who they were judging from how the standing audience reacted to them performing (due to my view from seating) Overall they played well although it seemed the audio quality setup didnt come across too well, a notable example being that the backing vocals appeared louder than the main vocals at odd intervals.

Evanescence were enjoyable, it was also nice to hear some of their newer material considering I haven't really gone out of my way to listen to them since their debut album. The most enjoyable element for me overall was my little sister's face once Amy Lee took to the stage and how she clapped along all the way through, sang her heart out to all her favourite Evanescence songs and to top it off showing the horns here and there!

Loved the concert, Amy Lee was unbelievable, fantastic voice. They played a great set, all my fav songs.
Only one thing marred the enjoyment of the gig, was the straight set of lights behind the band, they were too bright to see the band and individuals properly, and gave that light burn effect in my eyes so I couldn't see clearly.

Amazing and to get to stand right at the barrier with my sister made it all the better.

Don't go on tour with The Used again - he nearly made most people vomit with all the spitting he did! DISGUSTING!

Though Amy Lee didn't fail to impress <3

Had an amazing night, Evanescence where on top form. They played a wide selection of songs not just from the new album but their back catalogue too, leaving my immortal still last, which was my personal favourite of the night. I'm glad Amy Lee did a few songs at the piano because you got to hear her beautiful voice on some amazing songs.
If you haven't already seen them live, I strongly recommend you do. Great atmosphere, excellent music and a truly amazing concert.

When I first arrived, I knew exactly where to be and the instructions were clear. The members of staff were very kind and helpful. Because of my height I was worried of not being able to see the band on stage however as the intro-acts performed I claimed a spot closer and closer to the stage quite easily and by the time Amy-Lee and the guys stepped on stage I could see and it was fantastic. I also went last year however this year was better! Definatley a concert to remember!!!

The two bands before were ok.I only went to see evanescence and found the music a bit loud and too much like thrash metal for my liking.Evanescence were on for 1 and a half hours and were really good.they played all there hits and some.Amy Lee can really hold a tune and plays the piano well.She has an amazing voice and even with three guitars and a drum set going,she still gave a near faultless tune.I would defiantly go and see them again but would try to miss the support bands ! not really my cup of tea,

I thought the first support act Lost Alone were better then the second act The Used. This isn’t to say that The Used were not good as well. During The Used’s set we were treated to a very public marriage proposal from one girl to her girlfriend on stage – her fiance said “yes” to a cheer!

On the main act – as at Hammersmith Evanescence came out to What You Want from the third self-titled album then proceeded to (mostly) blast their way through their hits. The set list had a few changes then that at Hammersmith last November which was good and still as good. Amy Lee switched between dancing energetically around the stage belting out with her powerful voice one moment to softly sung piano accompanied tunes the next.
The loudest the crowd got was during “Bring Me To Life” as the full capacity crowd sung along the whole song with Amy, ending the main part of the show – magic.

Returning for an encore the concert finished with “My Immortal” where again, Amy encouraged us all to sing along.

As expected amy lee and the guys were brilliant, sound quality was great and the set list was full of all those ones you want to hear, however , the evening was marred by the support acts, whilst they they may have been ok in their own fields their music style and type did not fit well with the genre that amy sits in . they Were VERY loud and heavy , Also they both used very strong language regulary using the "F" word , hey no problem for me , but there were numerous Dads that had brought there kids to probably their first gig and i felt quiet uncomfortable for them.
bottom line go see the show dont rush to get there for the support acts just go and enjoy amy and the boys.

The first band (sorry, I've forgotten their name! I think they were Lost Alone) were quite good, their songs were fun and energetic, although they weren't quite as good as the lead singer thought they were :)
The Used weren't bad either, although I don't really enjoy their style of music so I'm not a good judge of quality. The lead singer has a decent voice, anyway. During their set a couple got engaged on stage, which was really sweet to see. Very brave of the ladies, too.
Evanescence were simply amazing. The band were on top form, and Amy had a lovely dress on, made up of all the flags of the countries they've visited on the tour. They played a great selection of their songs from across their history and were very engaging with the crowd. Amy's voice was pretty much perfect, giving every song an incredible power and emotion.
Overall the night was a great one, and although the sound was a little fuzzy, the quality of the show more than made up for it. Thank you Evanescence, and The Used, and the other ones (I'm sorry about forgetting your name!)

From the opening song What Do You Want ? The answer was more more more and they deleivered it with a classic from teh back catalaogue "Going Under" as the second song. Some excellent renditions from their third self titled release - The Change, Made In Stone, My Heart Is Broken, Never Go Back augmented a terrific , powerful show. My highlight was Lithium one of three from the second album (which I think three is plenty) given the time devoted to the more powerful , aena freindly first and second albums. A good encore predictably and rightfully finishing with My Immortal.

The aptmosphere was particulary electric being the last night of a long tour. It only added to the party aptmosphere that people had jouneyed from the proverbial four corners of he world...Greece, Brazil, France, US, Germany, to name a few

OK first support act, Lost Alone - The Used - horrid, shouty music!!! Went outside! Then Evanescence... Amy great live as expected. Played most of the last album which was nowhere near as good as the first two.. and only played 3 of my favourites.. strobe lighting was excesssive to the point of making me feel nauseous and had to keep looking away! And when they went off stage before the encours my friend and I actually commented, "is that it??" - then to top it off the road back to the car park was closed and we all had a 20-30 minute diverted route back to our cars for the long journey home. Also Wembley Arena has NO seating area outside of the actual arena. Glad the tickets were only £30! Not impressed :(
