Like a boxer stepping up to face their opponent, Angela Gossow took up her position on stage and looked into the soul of the crowd gatehered in a cold North London. Such a accomplished vocalist can afford this confidence when backed by such talented, tight and technical musicians. 'Ravenous' was belted out with great energy as was 'taking back my soul' and of course the speedy 'Nemisis'. The fans were a credit to heavy metal, throwing themselves around with abandon yet helping those in a bit of bother (usually on the floor) and laughing about it afterwards. Maleface were a real surprise package and a band I would like to see again. Excellent ideas in their music and superb showmanship, connected extremely well with the audience. Grand Magus were a real 'Judas Priest' type of act that looked a little odd sandwiched between two death metal bands, yet they provided variety and clearly made an impact (one for the real 70's rock type). T-shirts were cheap at £15 and £20 for four bands is unbelieveable value. Easily worth the wait after the delay from February due to volcanic ash. I look with anticipation to the next controlled explosion of moten metal from the maost exciting metal band for some time. Stunning!

Classic back catalogue set. All their biggest tunes pretty much. Could have done with 'Behind the smile' but that's just me.

the forum was a perfect venue for this gig, nice and intimate. plenty of room for moshing and a good view of the stage. the sound was amazing as well as the light show. the band really showed their metal and gave us the fans what we came to expect from Arch Enemy, and more. i fully recommend seeing them live when you have the chance, miss out and you will regret it. an awesome was had by all. \m/

Having waited ages to see Arch Eneny again it was well worth it!!! Great support also. Chythonic opened up and went down a storm!! Great to see Taiwanese Black Metal on tour in the UK. They looked great on stage and hit the spot. Front man Freddie Lim has the stage presence and voice to go far. Malefice then kicked ass with Dale Butler filling the front of stage with his muscle!!! Met him afterwards and he's a big guy!! Metal is alive and kicking in the UK thank Fu**!!! Then Grand Magus from Sweden. Not seen or heard of them before but were very impressed with there melodic powerful style. Janne "JB" Christoffersson reminded me of Rob Halford (JP) and has a wonderfully powerful reverb in his voice. Where have you guys been hiding!! Come back soon!!! Finally Arch Enemy!!!! Angela Gossow was worth the wait. What a chick!! and that voice, wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The Amott brothers shredded it, awesome!! Come back please in 2011!!!

An amazing night. Best had in ages. All bands were brill but Arch Eneny stole the show with their amazing set. Stood in awe on occasions especially at the drum solo. Couldn't fault it. Love Arch Enemy!!!
