All very exciting, great value for money. Amazing to see all the action. So many good looking men under one roof. Shame the last fignt was so late as so many people had to leave due to the last tube train leaving at 12.30. We ended up getting an expensive taxi home as we missed the last tube. that was also a shame for the last fighters as they did not have the support they deserved just aimless shouting from the remaining drunken yobs who started there own fight in the seats and had to be broken up by security.

The actual boxing was great but the seats were awful. I bought the most expensive tickets as they were a birthday present for my boyfriend but we could not see a thing. The view was restricted by the camera man and the seats, although listed as ringside, were to the side of the ring so nothing could be seen. We ended up going up stairs and standing where we had a much better view. If I had paid for standing tickets I would be scoring this event more highly but I did not. Seats need to be advertised as restricted viewing like with theatre tickets if this is the case and not charge the maximum price for them. Luckily my boyfriend was not put out by this and still had an enjoyable evening.

Positives:
1. Excellent compact venue for boxing 2. Seating close to the ring 3. Noisy but well behaved crowd made it a good atmoshere. 4. Good catering facilities.

Negatives:
1. Most of the bouts were fairly one sided. 2. The main championship bout started too late so some people had to leave for trains before the end.

Overall: A very enjoyable night out. Recommended for anyone who likes boxing even if not a dedicated fan.

I've been to plenty of big boxing venues to see the likes of Ricky Hatton, Carl froch etc but this was my 1st time at the York hall despite threatening to.go there for years. Witter vs Frankie Gavin. George groves was due to fight originally but cried off and will be out at the excel 15th December instead. Witter was dire at best, just not interested in a fight at all. Gavin tried to make it lively but Witter wasn't having it, kept trying to make Gavin miss but doing nothing himself apart from the occasional pot shot but nothing sustained. Gavin brought the whole of BCFC Zulu mob to eat London and they did him proud, the pub across the road did alright out of them too. Loved the atmosphere, took someone who has never been too a boxing match before but will definitely go again so that's my good deed for the year! Looking forward now to 15th December and I will definitely bed back at the York hall.

My first ever live boxing event, not my last now! Totally hooked, far better than I ever imagined. York Hall is such an amazing venue everyone is so friendly the sercurity guys are extremely helpful. The only draw back is that no sooner you are there its time to go home, you have such a great time the hours just fly by. This venue is a must if you are a fan of boxing, I will definately go again.

THERE WERE 4 4X3 MINUTE FIGHTS AND THE MAIN FIGHT OF 10X3 MINUTE ROUNDS. EACH FIGHT WAS DIFFERENT IN STYLE OF FIGHTERS SO KEPT US ENTERTAINED THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.
WE WERE ADVISED TO GET THERE EARLY BUT FIGHTING BEGAN PAST 830PM (DOORS OPENED AT 630PM).
DRINKS VERY EXPENSIVE AT VENUE

Apart from the McAllister fight the other fights were good and worth watching. Very disappointed in the outcome of the main fight.
McAllister seemed to give up after the 5th round. seemed like he had resigned himself to getting beat. Not sure if the problem with his arm was the real reason he called it a day, but a lot of people were very disappointed the way it finished. Would not go back to any of his fights. His younger brother looks a better prospect.

A great night, although a disappointing result, cant be helped that McAllister sustained a hand injury. Fantastic to have events like this in Aberdeen. Fantastic venue, fantastic atmosphere.
The fights building up to the main event were great - well done to Matthew McAllister.
The only criticism was that there were no signposts or announcements to show that the event was not taking place in the usual place of the venue, we missed 2 fights due to not knowing where to go and that in fact the boxing had already started... A criticism to the venue and staff.

This was my first boxing event I went to and I loved it!!!
Atmosphere was great at York hall!! Everyone around was friendly.

Lg was a nice spacious arena. Lots of people wanting to get in at the same time, with what i would say minimum fuss. As it was done properly with plenty of que's. Event was enjoyable, could of been improved with extra screens inside, especially with one letting you know details of who is fighting next with possibly little reviews on fighters. As in between fights was a little vacant. Speakers are a much needed application up on the back teirs, however this is Lg issue not Magnificant seven. Over all i enjoyed night. Fights where good, very enjoyable line up. Food was good- surprisingly. However if you want to take missus be warned their can be a fair bit of fighting outside of the ring, with all the Rocky Balboa wanna b's.
