we got fantastic seats down by the finnishing line got our photo with a few athletes that we admire also ones that had retired.
great venue ...and easy to get to as free shuttle buses were laid on :)

The event was great, with lots of action and a good mix of events. Having the paralympic events mixed in with the others was a good idea. The venue was easy to get to (shuttle buses worked well, and car parking was easy) although directions to seating could be made clearer. The main downside was that we weren't able to see the big screen due to nets etc suspended from the ceiling. Although there was another big screen this didn't show replays etc.

The fact that there were so few star performers meant the MC needed to rev the crowd up ahead of the action. The whole event was 'flat' until the last 3 races. Scheduling was poor with the first 20 minutes being Ladies triple jump - with far too many no jumps. Killed the atmosphere from the off. I've been to this event at the Kelvin Hall before and thoroughly enjoyed it, but in the fantastic new arena, this was poor. My sports mad 14 year old and her 2 equally sports mad pals were bored.

Amazing stadium.(Emirates Glasgow) Amazing sports.Action packed afternoon. Great that paralympians included.We went for £29 (these were cheapest) high up seats and I was wary but view was great.

Excellently Presented,Ran to Time and well organised.Great to see International stars such as Bernard Lagat,Carmelita Jeta and Home athletes Holly Bleasdale and Perry Shakes-Drayton and Duane Chambers.Also the Shuttle Buses to and from the arena were Excellent.

Had a brilliant day at the emirates stadium,very impressive!Great facilities prior to and during the event and excellent seats and an unrestricted view on all events.Woukd thoroughly recommend going to another athletics match as you get to experience several events all at once...excellent value for money.

Overall the day was very good. Took the shuttle bus from Buchanan Bus Station. Very well organised.
New stadium very good and excellent replacement for the Kelvin Hall.
Little dissapointed at lack of star names appearing especially after the success of team GB at the Olympics and also the price hike from last year.

spent Saturday afternoon at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow watching the International Athletics match. Great atmosphere despite the absence of major athletic stars but worth it to see Grabarz, Lagatt, Greene, Collins, Chambers and Allan Smith from Scotland - who broke the Scottish high jump record. Event flowed well until the last 45 minutes when there seemed to be a bit of "padding" waiting for Dai Greene in the 600 meters and Duaine Chambers in the 60 metres. As we left we thought USA had won but in Sunday papers reports said Russia were the winning team - bit confusing - overall great time - but just a bit expensive for tickets?
