ATP Word Tour Finals - the power !

Favourite moment: When the annoucement came over that there was to be a "special" presentation - and it was the actually handling over of the trophy to Roger F !!! @

Just wanted to place two recommendations, one for the ATP World Tour Finals - as an event themselves, and the other for Ticketmaster.
Can not fault the Ticketmaster service, excellent & frequent comms. Even up to the night before. No problems, printed e-tickets accepted and everything was so straightforward.
The O2 is a fabulous location - you can't knock all the transport links and the ease by which you can navigate across the city to get to it. The Tennis itself was just awesome. Our seats were unbelievable, we were sat right behind the tennis "WAGs" themselves, two rows from court-side and able to hear every grunt and witness the power, speed and accuracy of tennis played at its best. Booked these as a wedding anniversay present for my hubbie - as not a strict tennis fan myself - but have to say was completely blown away by the atmosphere and excitement. We even saw Roger F receive his ATP World Tour Trophy !!

Enjoyed the tennis at the O2,but my favourite moment was the first Sunday and seeing Rafa practise for over an hour and a half. So glad that for a change real tennis fans got to see their idols rather than members of tennis clubs who sometimes quite often are only there for the day out.

The venue & the event was absolutely fantastic. This was the first live tennis I had been to & it more than lived up to expectations. We dropped on the right day for me to see my favourite player, Rafael Nadal, in action - pity he lost! Can't wait for next year but hope we have seats lower down (not good with heights!) & nearer to the action.

Watched Soderling beat the great Rafa Nadal in what should be the second home of British tennis after Wimbledon. The atmosphere was fantastic, the venue was very impressive and the result was....unexpected! I cannot wait for the Finals this year at the same venue. Bring it ON!

Loved the venue-very exciting. First time I have visited O2 arena, thought it was perfect sports venue. Seats were perfect, atmosphere great, loved the graphics and big screens. Honoured to see Federer play. Only negative was difficulty getting something to eat beforehand, everywhere was packed, long queues. Also session could have started earlier, only just caught last tube home. Looking forward to next year.

As the title suggests it's a perfectly ok event to go to but certainly nowhere near the experience of going to Roland Garros or Wimbledon as you get a doubles match (for which the place is half empty) and a 2 or 3 set mens match only.

Although on paper our seats didn't look very good, I was amazed by the O2 arena design, which meant everyone had a good view, even if you were at the back because the seating was quite steep but meant no big heads in the way. The tennis and the atmosphere were electric- I mean ELECTRIC. The crowd was much more involved than in shanghia and the lighting and promotion was first class. Could get anything u wanted to eat or drink. Would have been better if u could buy the guys tennis gear. Maybe they should think about letting the sponsers like nike , wilson, yonex etc sell their wares. It was great to watch the stars warm up on the outside court (still inside the dome but outside of the arena) where u were no more than 5 yards away.
Outside there were endless restaurants and bars.
It was something I will never forget and I am booking for 2010 as soon as the tickets come out. It is only here for another three years before it jets off somwhere else. So don't miss this opportunity it might never be here again.
If you love tennis or sport in general it is a MUST.
My hat is off to the organisers- if I could have given 8 stars I woould have.

I was so thrilled when I got the tickets to this event and even more thrilled when I found out I'd be watching one of worlds best tennis players, Roger Federer!! Unexpectedly he lost but the match was amazing and the seats were not bad either, the atmosphere in the arena was great and overall an experience I will never forget.

I thought the event was excellent - thank goodness we have it for five years; I came twice this year and will try to come at least three times next year. All my friends are being told to come too. The ticket prices were excellent value - it was good to hear that being emphasised by people ringing in to 5Live - and the staging quite stunning, emphasising the entertainment without losing the sporting intensity. And the getting people away late at night on the Jubilee line was exemplary - that was the bit I was dreading, and I need not have worried.
Quibbles - £10 for a programme is ludicrous, as is the rule that you can't take hot drinks om the scaltor when you can buy them upstairs! And the buildup to the players coming on is too long. But this is minor stuff.

Had tickets for both semi finals sessions - tier one seats both times. Each time just slightly to the side of the centre line, but at opposite ends for the day and night session. Thought both lots of seats were excellent. Really good atmosphere for the singles. Slightly disappointed that a lot of people didn't attend the doubles, as we enjoyed both matches, particularly with the view we had. As a first time visitor to the complex (not having visited it, when it was the millennium dome), I was quite impressed with what had been done and pleasantly surprised that a good meal could be had at a reasonable price. Will likely go again next year.

Great seats and great atmosphere. Previously been to the o2 for a concert and didn't think it was suited to that personally. The venue is totally suited to tennis though. I would say that it was quite a short match - with men's tennis I'd always like to see it being a best of 5 sets match but I guess that's down to the ATP guys to sort out.

first of all I am Italian, so my English might not be very good. It was not my first time in London, but it was my first time at the O2. It's a fantiastic place, tennis was fantastic, players were fantastic, the atmosphere was something special, the moment the player entered the court was something special. I liked everything, tennis, players, restaurants, the practicing court where I could see the player closer, even the weather was good, I stayed four days and they were all sunny days, it was not cold either. great experience, london is a fantastic town, my favourite town after rome, of course.the match I liked most is VERDASCO vs MURRAY, great match. verdasco played very good. I would like to repeat the experience next year. everything well organized, even the tube that leaves you at the entrance of the O2.GREAT!!! REALLY GREAT22
