The cars, the noise, the atmosphere - Monster Jam had it all. The fun and comedy factors were there too! We laughed out loud and shout loud at the cars, the bikes, the tank (!) the three wheeler races, I would definately want to go and see this show again. Total value for money, we were entertained for hours and hours. The Monster Trucks were simply awesome, I cant believe how big they are. This is one fun show that you cant miss.

Simply AWESOME!! Fantastic event, great day/evening out. Not just monster trucks, but robin reliant racing, mini racing, dune buggy racing, radio controlled model cars, freestyle motocross and jet engine quad bike, all in one show!!! Superb. The pit party is an absolute must if you want to meet the drivers and get to see the trucks up close, this gives you a really good idea of just how monstrous these beasts are.

This event was fab, I bought the tickets for my boyfriends birthday because he loves cars/trucks of any sort and I had seen him watching monster trucks on the tele. I know he would love the presant but I never imagined that I would have such a great time. The pit pass is a great way to see the vehicles up close and to appreciate the grand size and detail on each one. It also made a great full day out. I loved the show and the extras in between were sooo funny. Highly recommend this event to anyone, young or old !

we went to the pit party in the afternoon and the look on my kids face when they see tom meents was amazing! the kids absolutly loved seeing the trucks and the drivers. we bought loads of stuff! THE SHOW AT NIGHT WAS THE BEST WE LOVED WHEN THE WEE CARS WERE RACING AND BASHING EACH OTHER. THE WHOLE SHOW WAS GREAT. THE ENTRANCE AT THE START WHEN THE MONSTER TRUCKS CAME IN WAS SUPERB. THE KIDS CANT WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!

Yet again a very good nights entertainment for the kids. Lots of noise, flashing lights and Truck Crashes.
Good - Family ticket was good value for money much cheaper than the previous year and as always good views from the stadium.

Not so Good - This event does not start until after 7pm and with the majority of persons attending having young children it does not finish until 10.30 pm and then you have to get home from Cardiff.
It's too long a day for the kids as if you attend the pit party you have to be there for 2pm.

I do not understand why this event does not start in the early afternoon - with the roof on it would make no difference.
But all in all a good show for the kids at the stadium and if it is there again in I will be attending.
TIP - Take ear defenders for the kids it is very noisy.

This is a very entertaining event and great for all the family. Remember to take ear plugs though. You get great value for money as it's not just Monster trucks you get to see. There is stunt bikes, 3 wheeler racing, buggy racing plus many more events.

What saved it were the motorbike display, which was spectular, and the three wheeher race, which was hilarious. The Monster Jam Monster Truck Racing was not as exciting as in the DVD, but the children enjoyed it. The Pit Party was worth the little extra, but it made for a long day for those who were staying far from the venue. All in all it was an OK event for the grown-ups, but for the kids it was mega-exciting.

We arrived at Cardiff in anticipation of having a great day, we weren't dissappointed. It started off with the pit party, absolutely great you could walk right up to the monster trucks on display, also you could queue up to get autographs, we got Tom's of Maximum Destruction top bloke up for a laugh with the fans. Also in the arena there was a display team from Hpi radio controlled cars doing awesome jumps and tricks, plus many more attractions.
The evening event was even better, there was around twelve trucks there and like you see on Sky there was the usual racing heats to start off with, the noise from the trucks and the crowd were awe inspiring, between each event there were other activities going off, three wheeler (plastic pigs) racing more like demolition derby really hilarious there was also the grass track association racing as well.
The freestyle event at the end was really something to see, these big trucks launching themselves into the air getting big air abouts thirty feet up, doing doughnuts and also rolling them over, it was a shame for it to end we went away with a buzz

Took my nine year old nephew to see Monster Jam. He had an amazing time - thought the show was "awesome" - he's still talking about it over a month later. Well organised - they gave you ear plugs on admission and believe me you need them! Pit party is a must - allows you to see trucks up close and meet the drivers. All in all highly recommended.

very very very good. I took my son and mum and we all enjoyed it. I would recomend taking some ear protection as i had to splash out £15 on the monster jam ear protectors which my son age 5 thanked me for.

I had watched Monster Jam on Bravo for a number of years, not as an avid fan, just as something to watch. I heard they came to Wales in 2008, and when i heard they were coming back i thought i would give it a try. (Living in Cardiff means i didn't have to travel too far). We went for the Pit side pass, thinking we could make a day of it, and it was brilliant, all the trucks were in the middle of the stadium and you were free to roam around get a feel for how big these things actually were. Unfortunately the weather was a big let down on the day, but with the roof closed it didn't impact on the show. The main show was great, and some of the best enteratinment actually came from Robin Reliant racing! The only negative thign about the event was the volumn levels, alot of the younger children got upset by the shear noise created and when the Jet car came out (I didn't understand why it was there, it was quite pointless actually) it made a terrific noise which reverberated around the stadium (probably due to the roof being closed) and lots of children got taken outside as they were getting upset. However if you have kids and they can cope with the noise, this is a fantastic event to take them to, and there are loads of things to keep them entertained. I would definitely suggest going to the Pitpass before hand, and then you can make a realy day of it.

we had a fantastic time at the fabulous millenium stadium watcing monster jam 2009. we would definately go again and recommend to friends. was very loud and exciting small car races were hillarious and the stunt bikes were amazing too. only 1 critisism would be the sound of the comentator, we couldnt hear him at all, or the drivers talking which was a shame. overall was brilliant!!!

it was the first time we had been to the monster jam and it wont be the last! it was fantastic! the entertainment in between the monster trucks was really good! we thought the supply of ear plugs was a good idea! the noise was amazing! we were leaving our seats at the end and the kids were asking if we could go back next year! we definately will be! it was brilliant and we cant wait until next years!
