I took my father (77) and my daughter (25) and we all really enjoyed it. Tommy Whittle (we googled how old he is and is a mere 85!) is truly an amazing saxophonist and still touring! It brought back lots of memories for my dad when he used to take my mum to see the Ted Heath Band back in the day. Although the band vary in age I just think it could do with a new band leader that had a bit more jest but that aside we had a good time. Venue is good with car park that has a tunnel direct to the hall. Tea and cake went down well!

We had a great night.. The band were superb and so too were the singers. Our only complaint was that we couldn't get up to dance in the Kings Row/Balcony Bar area at the back ... it would have been lovely to have danced in the same room as the band ... but we weren't allowed!... so we vacated to the main bar for the 2nd half and danced to the Band there... thankfully their music was piped through and we could watch them on the TV Screens...still not quite the same.... We could have danced on the ground floor if we had paid less for our tickets!!!! Seems a bit silly to me!
All said... we would definately go again. Superb!!

Musicians are fantastic, and bring a lot of joy to the stage. However, the conductor is annoying and not interesting or entertaining at all. He could have presented historical/biographical information, or played it straight as if it were 1940, but instead he talked a lot about other gigs the band have done--such as in Spain--which weren't interesting or entertaining. The singers were great but so poorly integrated into the program, they felt like an afterthought. A lot of time was wasted doing constant introductions and 'thank you's.Given the audience demographic, a small dance area would have been a very nice touch.

the Glenn Miller Orchestra play all the classic hits accompanied by great singers. Fabulous brass displays with pizzazz. Just try not to snort when the band master speaks - he was either drunk or had a speech impediment... Way past his sell-by date. Look beyond him tho' and you'll have a night of toe-tapping fun... a couple behind us were dancing in the aisle

We took our parents /inlaws who were brought up on this music Dad used to play trombone in a band, they thoroughly enjoyed it, For us all it was an amazing night out full of nostalgia,

Excellent show, pity no room to dance. Highly recomend. As always time just fly's by and it is over all too soon. I look forward to them making a return visit.

Loved the Alhambra Theatre and Dunfermline and with free car parking next to the Theatre (Sunday) it was all good. The Glenn Miller Orchestra were the icing on the cake, they obviously enjoy playing together, we had a great night.

At 55 years young, and with my 10 years younger wife, we felt youthful in attending this Big Band event. However the evening was amazing with a brilliant performance by the Band. There was no rush to the bar at the interval as I was easily there first, skipping round the zimmer frames and mobility scooters to reach my pre-ordered glasses of wine. We would definitely go again.

My wife and I were enthralled by the Musicians who entertained us for well over two hours, they were true musicians they did not need electronic assistance bandsmen or vocalists truly heartfelt

The best yet: quite staggering. Vocal items more balanced now: little and often. Brilliant guests - Irresistable. Why does Ray not include Emer's Tune??? too much other good stuff I guess.

..through the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
Having never seen the band before we approached the event with a degree of trepidation. How wrong we were? We were all completely blown away by the orchestra who seemed to bring Glenn Miller back to life.
Each of the numbers they played, which were many and various, evoked such wonderful emotions as to make the flesh tingle with nostalgia.
The whole orchestra is knee deep in talent with the trombones, saxophones and trumpets played with consummate expertise, pathos and colluded perfectly to bring this great band leader back to life.
This is one show where if you like Glenn Miller ..you will not be in any manner disappointed. If you have never heard Glenn Miller before..and like big band sounds at all..you are in for a treat . Either way ...do not miss this trip down memory lane.

I took an elderly person to see this event although it is not my kind of music era. However, I was not disappointed. I was surprised that there were only 16 in total and that there were a couple of young musicians as I assumed they would all be mature persons. The young trumpet player was brilliant really knew how to make the instrument talk. While the majority of the show was instrumental the songs that were sang were good and I even hummed along with some of them.
Irresistible were excellant and really got the predominate elderly audience tapping their feet and I noticed those around me moving their arms and hands in tune with them. It's a pity these girls were not on for longer stints.
