i travel from coventry a few times a year and find that every concert and find the venue intermate and every concert so far as been superb

I've been to the Jazz Cafe for events previously, so the venue was no surprise to me. I asked if there would be a support to the main event, and was told a DJ would be playing a set. I was pleasently surprised to know it was Calvin Francis. HE WAS GREAT.
The band took to the stage at about 9.30pm and exploded into their set (literally) the drum kit developed a fault during the first track. The SOS crew talked us through this, declaring it would'nt put them off and that the night was only going to get better. IT DID.
If you have the chance to see these guys in the future (new album promised next year), don't miss them. They sounded and looked great and teased and toyed with us during the entire show. BRILLIANT.

Cracking cracking night! SOS band never fail to deliver. Amazing show and they just breezed through a few technical errors and delivered a quality quality show.
They delivered their amazing catalogue of music in an amazing show. Tight horns, drum and vocals, not to mention the dance moves.
A great buzz and a great crowd.

If you like old school R&B ?.... this is the band to see!, the band members are well into their sixties and still know how a crowd, definitely a must see.

Growing up in the 80's, the SOS Band were one of many Soul, Funk and Rare Groove artists that I used to listen to. Imagine how I felt on Friday evening when after their excellent performance I was invited up to meet them in their changing rooms at the Jazz Cafe!! Brilliant musicians and wonderful people. Fantastic show full of soul, passion and energy.

Wow these guys turned back the sands of time, in a word brilliant. The drummer looked great that hair she has and can she play the drums or what!!!!!!

this was a very entertaining gig. Brilliant instrumentation and musicality, lots of interaction with the audience. We enjoyed dancing along to all the favourites

The band was truly was amazing - great sound with great energy. The dancing was memorable. 90 minutes of sheer good music. Definitely a must see!!!

Absolutely brilliant, what a lovely evening. The atmosphere was great and food good, I went back to the 80's, wish it could have been for longer. You just can't beat a venue like jazz cafe.

Got the tickets for my parents and went with them, glad I did as they were just brill. Took me back to being very small in the 80's and my Dads vinyls. They had the crowd up on their feet for the whole night, the band were great too, they were also versatile with the lead guy putting down his mike to play trumpet at intervals, how impressive.
