scrooge was an amazing show. The special effects, and cast were fantastic. As for Tommy Steele you could not have had anyone better to play this part. We also saw this show in London a few years ago, and would not hesitate to see it again.

Took my 3 children to see this show and we were all in awe. How do they manage to create so many wonderful special effects on stage. You expect amazing things in films but to be able to make people shriek with shock and gasp in wonder is truly an amazing feat when the audience is in such close proximity.
The whole cast were superb and you would never ever think that Tommy Steel is 73. I hope I am still going that strong when I'm that age.
This was an age old story with wonderful music, you can't fault Bricusse.
A must see !!

Tommy steel was brilliant, commanded the stage throughout the whole of the evening. As did the rest of the cast, the location seating and hospitality was exwcellent. i would certainly consider watching this again and would highly recommend to others.

The whole performance was unbeatable. Everyone involved with the show was obviously enjoying themselves and this feeling was passed on to th audience. The whole session was electric, in more ways than one!!!!! Tommy Steele's participation in the leading role was amazing. His ability to sing and dance that well at his age , puts me to shame. The standing ovation that the audience gave at the end has never been so richly deserved . Lastly I would like to thank everyone for an evening's entertainment that will remain fondly in my memory for years to come.

This was stylish production with Tommy Steele taking centre stage whenever he was in view. Some good singing moments with the occasional low volume, slightly off tune songs from lesser known actors. The stage sets were very interesting with many magic moments. Lots of scary moments too which caused screams from the easily excited. Steele was excellent as Scrooge with real emotion evident in those scenes of remorse. The standing ovation was well deserved and the injection of humour appreciated by all. A good performance which was worthy of a visit without doubt.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable show suitable for all the family, although very small children may get a little scared momentarily in parts. It is full of laughs, thought-provoking moments, sad moments, happy moments, great songs, great cast and Tommy Steele excels as one of the best Scrooges I have seen. His energy and enthusiasm belie his age - well done Tommy! My husband and I both had a really enjoyable evening and would thoroughly recommend this show to everyone. The theatre was full to capacity on the show's opening night - which I think says it all. Christmas starts here!
