Wow what an amazing show!
All the actors were brilliant, both known and unknown, with considerable congratulations going to Michael Ball for his 'dame' role - hilarious! (much adlib-ing throughout, especially with Nigel Planer - they made a great couple!).
A must see!

from the very start the play gripped your attention! with a great story line which was backed up by some impressive performances, especially the young black girls singing was truly amazing.
This is one of those performance you are quite willing to recommend to your friends and family!
great show....will watch it again!!

We have seen quite a few west end shows ,I can say without doubt Hairspray is by far the funniest . Phil Jupiter started off shakey but soon got into his stride cracking us up as Edna.The singing and dancing was brilliant not a weak spot in the entire show .Well done to everyone involved

Watched Hairspray at the weekend. It was an excellent show with many standout performances, Phil Jupitus was hilarious. Lead role played by Chloe Hart and Verity Rushworth (from Emmerdale) were also very good.
Would reccommend it to all ages. Had a real feel good attitude and was given a standing ovation at the end. Best west end show i've seen.

My husband really enjoyed the show, we laughed all the way through it. Phill Jupitas was excellent and it was great tosee Sharon Clarke in a different role. We both previously enjoyed her acting in Holby. Chloe Hart was amazing especially when it was her first West End part.

Well what can I say! Absolutely fantastic!
Phil Jupitus so funny, Sharon D Clarke Boy can she belt out the songs! Verity Rushworth you are better in hairspray than Emmerdale - you are so funny! Chloe who played Tracey Turnblad was brill! In fact they were all great

Hairspray is the best musical I've seen in London. The energy, choreography and catchy tunes made for a great afternoon's entertainment.
If you have to choose one show to watch in London, make it this one.

Fantastic, really good musical, made you feel happy, it was very funny in place, music marvellous. Really really good, The feel good factor without a doubt. Loved the dancing at the end.

My daughter and I, we liked the musical very much!!! It was funny, full of action and dancing!!! We enjoyed every minute we were in the theathre!!!!! It was a great evening for us, Now we are back in Holland we tell everyone about the musical, how amazing it was and that it really is the ULTIMATE FEEL-GOOD SHOW!!!!!

I've attended a few musicals and Hairspray was by far one of the best. Shafesbury theatre was small but cosy which added to the atmosphere. We were sat in the third row back and still had a good view, no matter where you sat you could get a good view. The cast were fantastic and received a well deserved standing ovation. Would highly recommend.

Hairpsray was absolutely amazing, the singing was outstanding and so was the acting! I loved the songs and the dancing and some parts were so funny! If life was like Hairspray it would be like living in a dream!! :)

The show was fantastic and the performance seemed flawless. Phil Jupitus and Belinda Carlisle were amazing on their first night. The show was full of energy from the start which never stopped. Would recommend this show to anyone for a fun and entertaining night out.
