A brilliant fusion of 80s style electropop, bits of 70s disco, ambient house and a whole lot more. They just get better and better. The lighting was amazing! I love the collective approach of GM, they are always moving onwards and upwards. Missed my last train as couldnt tear my self away from ten minute version of 'Superstylin'', but well worth it.....

Groove Armada played a good set, mainly new songs, only a couple of oldies, but I was disappointed as it was much shorter than me and my friends expected.

We were really looking forward to a great night out and as usual from GA were not disappointed. I had listened to the new album, Backlight, before we went and to be honest my only thought was that I hoped that they played lots of their old stuff. However, listening to them live gave me a new slant on the new tracks and I now hear the album with new ears....I love it The only issue i have is that we arrived at The Forum around 8.15 expecting GA to come on at around 9. They didnt come on til nearly 9.45! The supporting band were good but were off stage by 8.45 so that wasn't impressive. The female vocalist SaintSaviour has the most amazing voice and a stage presence that is immense.
Go see them and you wont be disappointed.

Excellent as always. New tracks are good but you can't beat Super Stylin to get the crowd jumping.

Boy do theseboys know how to knock out tune. Good gig but tempo was spoilt by mixing too many new tracks with their hits, so every time crowd got into a frenzy, everyone lost it when the new track was played next.

okay, i cannot hide that i was dissapointed really! not only they were approximately one hour late, they played mostly their new songs which i felt were not at all what most of the people wanted to hear. i saw a lot of people from the back row leaving, some of them shouted that it was rubbish. okay groove armada, you have changed your style but the massive question is WHY? the new lead singer is okay, nice voice i may say but for me, an ULTIMATE copy of robyn!
i felt that i bought a ticket to see groove armada and that ticket did not meet my expectations. I left after they sang "easy" and was glad to be out of there.
Last but not least i may say that this is the worst gig i have ever been in london.

What an amazing concert - venue was great, easy to reach and Groove Armada were hot. Certainly a band to look out for.
It is the first time that I have seen Groove Armada live and it will certainly not be the last time. Even thinking of going to V, a festival I like to avoid, to see them again (nevermind, the Editors, who will be performing there too).
Groove Armada certainly has not lost any ability to get their audience moving. And Fenech Soler is certainly a band to look out for.
I normally do not fill in survey's like these - so well done both bands. You did it.

Great music, great vocal performance but it started late! the band wasn't on stage until 945, a long time considering that the support band finished at 830. Bottom line: we could enjoy immensily the first hour of music but we had to dash out at 11 or there would no train back home (that is disgusting, last train 23:22!)

As with other Groove Armada concerts I have been to, the fans make the evening as much as the band. All of us dancing, hands in the air, cooing at the light show.
SaintSaviour is an amazing front woman, and me and my mate have vowed to get outfits just like hers.

Very good, liked the new songs and threw in the old classics at the right time to get the crowd jumping. Super Stylin and Easy brought the house down.

Favourite moment: Superstyling live with the MC.... @

Once Groove Armada got on stage they rocked! The new stuff, with the new lead vocalist was a change from their old-skool stuff and there were some good tunes, but when the MC came onstage to blast out some old tunes (Superstyling to name one) the place really got going and the crowd started to jump around!
It was just a shame that the event was poorly organised. The support act played from 8 til 8.40, then we were left waiting until nearly 9.45 for GA to come on and play, this meant they finished late and being a weeknight many of those who had to commute home missed the encore (myself included). This was a good event (when it finally happened) but with better organisation could have been SO much better. I still give it a 4-star though, purely because its GA and their music rocks!

More line ups than the Sugarbabes, thats what I heard over and over. I went to see Groove in 2006, they were incredible. I suppose my expectations were high. I was bemused at the new line up from the start. The middle-aged female vocalist was making jerky shapes in a triangular whacky shoulder top and sliver cat suit, singing very professionaly and sounding great, but the music was lost on her strange performance. Track after track I disliked it all more and more. That is until the old tracks got played (3 in all), the place erupted and the smile returned to my face. The finaly was incredible, again an old school track. If you do go, dont have any expectations, my friends that had not seen them live before loved it. For me, wobbly ancient, new romantics being propped up by great naughties mega dance group tracks didnt convince me that the new line up works. As a new band they could give it a go. Leave Groove Armada with the greats we know them for. Please.

We all turned up to groove along only to be treat to a Toyah Wilcox impersanator on stage thinking it was 1982 all over again.
Think the crowds reaction said it all, only time they managed to get this small venue bouncing (which is not hard as it has a sprung dance floor) is when they encoured with Superstylin'. Too little to late!
