You've heard most of it before, great set, excellent effects Blah blah blah. True the lead players are something else. From the production point of view the only issue i had was that some of the scores from the "rest" of the crew were not clear to listen to and took vast amounts of concentration to pick out even half the words, especially when upto 3 different singers are going for it at the same time, supposidly singing songs that contain some level of comic value, so hearing the detail is important.
My other issue is what the theatre describes as resticted view seats. My own seat (Royal Circle, LH side) could view all but the very front LH side of the stage and as such was described as unrestricted. Somehow thay managed to perform so much of the show in that small area of unviewablw stage i was often left with a strained neck guessing what was happening. Given that this show uses every inch of the stage at some point, and every foot between stage level and the very ceiling of the theatre, it would be more accurate for the theatre to describe almost every seat that is off center and / or more than a few rows back as "restricted view". Still a very enjoyable night and would would go again should time / money and the right seat be available.
