I have seen several West End Musicals and I think this is the weakest one I have seen. The songs are great, but that is no surprise but the show is a bit poor in sceneography and interpretation.

It was my first experience of a show and also for my mother whos 50th it was. We both rili enjoyed it, the script was funny and modern with jokes through out!! Id find myself singing and tapping my toes but then getting caught in the moment when the story became more serious!! The cast were fantastic, amazing voices. At the end all the people at the theatr were up singing and dancing along to the songs!! Was a fantastic evning in a cosy old theatr with pleanty of characters of its own!! Fantastic show and experience, would go again tomorow :-)

I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the performance. The light hearted evening was an ideal way to enjoy with family members. The cast were exceptional. So 'Thank You' very much for a very good night out that was value for money. May have to visit again !!!

What can I say, but MAGICAL! A truly wonderful show. I have seen this before at a different theatre. It was just as good at the Novello. A MUST for anyone, not just those who like Abba songs!

From start to finish Mama Mia was simply amazing. The atmosphere was electric the cast were wonderful especially the young men who danced and acted so superbly. We left the theatre feeling we'd had the best time ever and we have seen many excellent shows. Don't hesitate you must see this show!!

Sat Mat. One expects occasionally to get stand-ins. But some of this cast would have had trouble getting into the cast of a WI concert. Weak and unconvincing singing; either complacency (relying on the fact that everybody is comfy with AbbA material) or simply not good enough. I should have stayed at home & listened to the CD - it would have saved me £157..

Better than the film but just as cheesy, this show is great fun and very professional. The Abba songs are never-ending and it makes you realise just how much great stuff they produced. Great characters and costumes, especially the surreal water sports scene. All very good. Go see it!!!

Saw this show on Thursday 9th May with a group of friends, thoroughly enjoyed it! Very similar to the film but that was not a criticism. Joanna Monro was stand out highlight as Rosie! VERY funny!!! More a show for the girls though I would say, especially when they sing "Slipping through my fingers" BIG lump in throat moment for me!! Great music and we were all on our feet at the end dancing along to the ever wonderful Dancing Queen and encore. We got a meal and ticket deal so great value for money.

I am relatively new to the Theatre going experience and found Mamma Mia to be a light hearted, fantastically performed production. The vocals of all singing cast members was right on point, not to mention the beautiful surroundings of the Novello Theatre. For soemone attempting to 'dip their toe' in to Musical Theatre, I would highly recommend Mamma Mia.

I know this show has been around for ages, and we have seen the film, which was great, but you cannot beat seeing a live performance. The scenery is nothing special but the songs and acting make this show really special.
