Lacuna Coil were fantastic, but then I would expect no less.

The warm-up act, Domin, were also fantastic, with a good, heavy sound that reminded me a bit of Marilyn Manson. I would go to see them and hope they turn up at Download.

Unfortunately, the support band, "Dirty Little Rabbiits", sandwiched between these, were truly appalling! Like Kate Bush on some weird cocktail of drugs, possibly with her vocal cords damaged in an accident. "Cacophony" would be generous. Dunno what they were doing at such an event. Still, it gave me a chance to go and get a teeshirt (but long queues, others must have had the same idea).

But Lacuna Coil were so good that the Silly Little Bunnies could not ruin the evening - just be ready wit the ear plus.

Lacuna Coil thundered through their set and some of their best songs, such as Heaven's a Lie and Closer, were infectious. Christina has a sultry and daring stage prescence and she surveyed crowd with cool satisfaction; we were in complete awe. Her vocals, perfect on CD were as powerful and heartfelt live and the energy the band kept up till the last song was reflected by the crowd. The lyric friendly songs from their new album Shallow Life were chanted back to the band and all in all, it was a rockingly immersive experience.

Opening act(s): Domin were pretty good, not normally my type of music but I enjoyed them. The second act (I can't remember their name) were TERRIBLE. The vocals were an horrendous PJ Harvey impersonation and the keyboard solos just sounded like a drunk cat having a fight with itself...whilst on a keyboard. @

Another great show by Lacuna,despite being a man down,nice set list,good mix of old and new songs.
Dommin were good as opening act.more to come of them i hope...2nd act Dirty Little Rabbits..not my cup of tea,,a little bit too wierd for me,but went down well enuff with the crowd..tho i expect i was not alone in my chain of thought lol

this is the best gig i have ever been to. Dommin were great as a support act ( Dirty Little Rabbits not so much). Lacuna Coil are one of the best rock bands ever, and i would go see them again if given the chance.

Not a lot to say .
They performed as great as always.
If you have seen them before you know the energy and effort they put in during the gig , they connect with the crowd and make them an extra member of the group.
If you have not seen them but are thinking about it . GO . You will not be disappointed.

Just saw Lacuna Coil at ABC last night and was blown away. The band were outstanding (although thats common now with Lacuna) but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the other acts at the gig. Dommin had a good sound that I enjoyed on the night and this accompanied Lacuna quite well. I also really enjoyed Dirty Little Rabbits and have been buying there music already today! Would have been nice if this current tour was hitting Scotland more than once but hey I guess too much of a good thing!
I hope they keep to there promise of not waiting too long to return to Glasgow.

I've seen Lacuna Coil a few times now in different venues and they never disappoint, Cristina is always on great form voice and banter wise. I like the interaction the band have with each other which shows they are enjoying the show as well. Even with Marco missing they still managed to put on a great show.

We missed the opening act but saw DLR give their bizaar and eccentric performance against a back drop image of a womb! An interesting live act but probably not one for the cd collection. Lacuna Coil came out full of life and confidence and played a stunning set of melodic tunes with great band-crowd interaction. The venue was great in terms of sound, size and layout: wherever you were you didn't feel too far from the action on stage. Having said that I'm not sure the sound guys always got it spot on for Christina's vocal, but that was only just noticable an odd time. It was sad not to see the bassist at work, but the 7 string (?) rythum/lead guitars were a delight. I would of liked maybe a couple more songs added on at the end of the show but that's only because the band were in such good form. The drive from Aberdeen was worth it!

Great to see this band in the UK once more in a reaaly good venue. Teh set list included much of the latest album 'Shallow Life', but didn't leave out any of the crowd favourites. Cristina and Andrea held the crowd as well as ever, a great gig!
