Favourite moment: The crowd going mental during 'I'm a Loner Dottie', epic singalong during 'Out of Reach' and the nice surprise of hearing 'Off the Wagon' @
Setlist: Petty Pretty, Action & Action, Off The Wagon, Red Letter Day, Automatic (new song), No Love, Holiday, Martyr Me, Loner Dottie, Tommy Gentle, Woodson, Valentine, Mass Pike, My Apology, Keith Case. Encore: Out of Reach, Beer for Breakfast, Ten Minutes, On a Wire @
Opening act(s): Straight Lines (they were quite good, shame the crowd weren't into it) @
Possibly the best gig of my life. Small venue compared to last time I saw them (Underworld as opposed to the Electric Ballroom), good set list (lots of 'Something To Write Home About' with a few oldies and new stuff thrown in), front row, met Matt and Jim afterwards and they were really nice guys. Only negative was the way the band members got pissed off with one another at times and made digs at eachother. The atmosphere was maybe a bit better last year, due to both the band and crowd being more excited, but it was great to see them in a smaller venue.
