There is nothing quite like a small intimate venue like the Roisin Dubh for live music and Eric Bibb filled the space with his Southern Blues, Gospel and wonderful soul spirit. Accompanied mainly by the Seattle-based harmonica player, Grant Dermody, he gave us a comprehensive taste of tracks from his new CD, Booker's Guitar, plus some sublime examples from his earlier work - Connected & Stagolee. Publicity for his new CD aside, more of his classics would have been great. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with one of America's great Soul and Blues artists. KEEP MUSIC LIVE !
